I was just wondering what happend to the new Queen tracks that were going to come out with Freddie singing .Last year Brian said on his website that there would be new tracks made with vocals left from Freddie.Like Made in Heaven.
This is a project that probably won't be dealt with any time soon but will at some point in probably a decade. It will be done but they are going to go out making new studio l.p.s and doing tours for a good many years first.
Maybe there's something, I don't know. Mr> Queen Archivist said many yrs ago there was somethings stunning in the vaults that if released would've been sure fire hits and he didn't know why they didn't release them. I'm not sure if I've heard anything like that from what's been release (except maybe feeling, I love that song as uncomplicated as the lyrics are) so there still maybe some stuff.

Can you find the exact quote from Brian? I just can't remember him ever promising to release anything like that.
Besides, with the current QPR activity, I just don't see them trying to revive the past. Why should they? They're creating something 100% new at the moment.
Honestly, who cares about all this old crap that wasn't good enough to be on an album to begin with.
I would love to hear unreleased Queen stuff in a boxset or on cds. But I really wouldn't like them to rework old songs that were left off albums for good reasons (i.e. not good enough).
Queen with Freddie is over. Now it's Queen and Paul. And I love it

The obvious Queen-related pun would be: "Hang on in there!"

I too can't wait for the new album, but I also can't wait to hear a completed Queen version of "Let Me In (Your Heart Again)". That alone would be worth paying the price for the box sets.
