Thanks Mike! I only had a lousy flac version, I trust these mp3s will be an upgrade. Thanks again! |

Thanks for the detailed lineage and source info (which one of the two mentioned in the link?), sound quality info (A++, good joke) and the continuity in your actions. You don't omit a chance to prove you're a nuisance. |

thank you very much! I hope it works freak-flac sux! |

64 kbps mp3 would be perfect, actually. My mp3 player only has 500 mb of space, and I couldn't bear to delete my collection of Barry Manilow and the Osmonds. |

sunshine wrote: So sad to hear those moaners.. If you don't like it, then don't download it and shut up... Thank you very much for this concert.I used to download mp3 gigs and never care for lineage and stuff. If you have any doubt, I could post a screenshot here showing something around 100 concerts, practically all of them in mp3 or wma. The thing is, when you realise that by not caring about encoding, lineage etc you could be missing a much better version of the concert (for example, you download a 5th generation copy, but you don't know what gen it is, so someone uploads a 1st gen copy later on, and as you don't know the lineages, you think it's all the same recording and don't bother upgrading), you kinda feel you wasted lots of time. Besides that, this particular uploader downloaded a lossless recording made by a Queenzoner compiled from several sources who did NOT want it to be posted lossy, and then uploaded it here lossy just to tease people. I am not against mp3 sharing - and to be honest, I think people should unite and start a new website to share lossless Queen stuff - but can't people at least provide some decent info about the concerts? And can't they show some respect for others? "AA++" quality... That was a way to tease to some members here who have been working hard on providing some excellent recordings, by putting stuff together from several sources to make them more complete, fixing the sound to make it more enjoyable for us, etc.] This guy is a cyber-terrorist. Some major labels do EXACTLY what this guy did: fuck up the quality of songs until they're very unpleasant, then flood P2P programs with the low quality files. Except they do it for their money (not that I support their attitude, though), and this guy does it just for the sake of getting attention. THERE ARE PEOPLE WHO HAVE TAPED CONCERTS THEMSELVES AND WILL NOT SHARE THE RECORDINGS BECAUSE OF THE WAY QUEEN FANS BEHAVE. THEY DO NOT WANT THEIR RECORDINGS BEING SHARED IN LOSSY FORMATS. WE ARE *MISSING* UNHEARD CONCERT RECORDINGS BECAUSE OF THIS BEHAVIOUR. |

To me it's quite obvious time and time again that the mastertapes from a 3rd source of this show - which I have - will never see the light of day... |

I tried for about an hour, and then it suddenly worked. They constantly prune inactive accounts, so there's a good chance. But you have to have patience! And after all it really is worth waiting. |
