Does anybody know if the pal editon of Montreal suffers from pal-speedup? I know that led zep got round it somehow as the madison square garden footage on the "Led Zepplin" dvd runs for the same time for both pal and ntsc.
I can't answer this but I just had to chime in with this: Simple logic defies that this ever should happen. You run a film at proper speed and record it (telecine) on your video system of choice in real time. Simple as that. No time differences, no speed problems. Just logic.
Now, of course I'm wrong.. but I don't care. :)
While we're at the subject...
Could anyone tell me if the sync-problem on WWRY is solved on this new edition?
Both my DVD and Laserdisc(remember those?)seem to have this problem at several places.
thnx

Yes, this synch problem is still there. I'm not sure about the PAL speedup, some songs seem to have this problem, while some don't, so maybe they did speed it up and after it some post-processing took place ?
