Nine lbs with a 14 inch circomference head and by the time he was ready to be pushed out (the midwives didn't think it was ready till the last minute), Jessica couldn't get any meds, just some tranquilizer type thing. So she felt all the pain!!! link link link
Thank-you everyone.
Jessica chose the name... I decided on the Y in it. And he has my first name as a middle name obviously, and he has my last name.
If he was going to be a girl, the name would of been Lilyan. Jessica chose that name as well! But the reason I would of went for that one, is really because I like the word lily, and also because of the song "Lily Of The Valley". So, if we have another child, and it's a girl, her name will be Lilyan.
I love Gavyn sooo much! He's a daddy's boy already!
Congratulations, Jake, what a cute baby:)
You are a very young parent and it won't be that easy all the time. I wish that you and the young mother are always happy with your child and grow with the responsibility. I hope this does not sound too grandmotherly to you ;)
I will very soon be reaching the ripe old age of 24. I often wonder where the last 6 years have gone.
A few months ago, out of nowhere, my hairline started to receed at an alarming rate, coupled with the once thick hair on the top of my head starting to thin.
And now, in a final kick in the balls, just when I thought nature could find no other way of making me feel like a geriatric, Jake Britt, who I still have a mental image of as being a chubby 13 year old with an over-active imagination, has become a father. Where do the years go...
In all seriousness though, congratulations Jake. I hope you, Jessica, and baby Gavyn have happy lives together.

Well I am still chubby. I am 5'8" and 180 lbs. I still have an over-active imagination, with anxiety! I am 20 years old now.
Thanks everyone for the congrats and thoughts!!!
