Thanks for posting these links.
I could watch Stone Cold Crazy at the Rainbow '74 a million times. It is perfection. I would have loved to have been in that audience! There is a SCC on youtube in '77, but the visuals are not good. Some of it has a darkened stage with just some flashing lights. Good grief! I want to see FREDDIE! He is sooooooo stunningly beautiful. Perhaps '77 was the last tour that had Stone Cold Crazy in it. Does anyone know?
The NOTW tour was the last tour on which "Stone Cold Crazy" was played in full. The first verse was played as part of a medley with "Great King Rat" during the European legs of the Works tour.

Use the fucking youTube thread.
But I don't LIKE the YouTube thread. A number of the links have no descriptions, so I keep linking to the same thing, and a lot of the links say, "This video has been removed due to error of use violations." By the way, the Queenzone thread is called "Queen on YouTube" and not "the fucking youTube thread". I am 63 years old, and as often as I have heard the work fuck in all of its derivatives such as being a noun, verb, adjective, expletive, and whatever else, I still don't like it and think it is lazy English. The crowd I hang with doesn't use it. I consider myself well read including newspapers, books, and magazines including the weekly New Yorker, and the word fuck rarely appears in print anywhere else that I see except for on the Queenzone site. I always include in my subject line the words "youtube" or "ebay" as referenced so those viewers who do not like youtube or ebay will know not to click on the thread.
So,
... fuck off!!!
Watching it reminds me of just what a good, QUALITY band they were. And, Freddie's vocal flexibility is truly legendary. He sounded so GOOD, in so many different ways, no matter what sort of music they were playing. They just all were such amazing musicians.

1. I don't like this thread, but I still respected that it was the most logical place for my post.
2. It was an (adapted) movie quote. I do swear a lot, and although I broadly agree that such words are overused, I also think that there are times when they are entirely appropriate. The word fuck is used in The Times a reasonable amount (albeit as f***), appeared in The Hicthhiker's Guide To The Galaxy amongst thousands of other "properly" fictional works.
3. An American accusing me of lazy English? That will certainly add colour to my humour today...

carboengine, I just wanted to say 'Bravo!' and give you a round of applause for your eloquent speech. I'm sure I'm not alone when I say I'm glad to see some long deserved retribution finally handed out!
As for the topic, I totally agree. I love that Rainbow '74 version above all others. The guitars, drums, energy...and that outfit are all stunning.
