"We are planing a tour for 2008, which should start not too far from here" this is what Brian told at a Pressconference for We Will Rock You in Vienna on Nov 22nd 2007

no no no people! Europe & America have had far too much Queen - well at least compared to us downunder in NZ (& Oz). They can go to Heathrow & catch a plane straight to NZ & bypass everyone else!!! - lol
Hey Thomas(by the way the name of my near-to-born-son),
Can you transcript Brian and Roger's answers because the recording have a very bad audio and we can hardly hear and undearstand what they say?
Well that's nice and everything, but the language is still as non-committal as it has been.
He's saying essentially the same things that Paul has said over the last few months.
"We have entertained the idea of putting some shows together next year."
"We have a lot of songs..not finished, but very well on."
Nothing to really hang our hats on enough to get the credit card ready.
Still it's nice to hear them sound excited about what they are doing and it seems likely that they are going to go through with an album and tour.
I heareby promise to keep eating fish until they finally appear in Scotland.
I feel like just leaving this up on my post ... and writing nothing else until I see some hope of the message getting through....
.... well maybe..... :P
From the Q+PR site:
"Look out for some extremely exciting Q+PR news very shortly...keep checking this site and Queen Online over the next couple of weeks to find out more.
If you have not signed up to the QOL or Q+PR e-mail list I suggest you do so now!"
Wow, something is definitely happening.
QOL has been down for a good 24 hours now.
I suspect that it could be an announcement for a warm-up gig that precedes the actual tour.
They are excited about the new songs they are putting together and might want to try them on for size live.
The hell with the exchange rate. I've been hoarding vacation days strictly for this purpose and I'm going to go for it. Something is clearly about to happen and I'm so excited!
Neat-o. Maybe I'll get to see a Q+PR concert and not have to throw up the whole time. Jeez, I was miserable when I saw them in Buffalo. Still worth it though.

Hear hear! Either Edinburgh or Glasgow, if not both.

Scotland deserve gigs after missing the last tour!
Tickets will be £50 as that is the going rate!
If they plan on playing arenas with the size of the O2 in mind - 20000 - then there is not much hope of them playing in Wales either. The CIA is tiny compared to the O2 with a capacity of 10000.
I'm hoping they play a Welsh gig. They won't sell out the Millenium stadium but a better bet is the Liberty in Swansea.
Here's hoping for a nationwide tour!
I would really like to see a tour of the US... the southwest markets... Dallas, Houston, Austin... and I guess you can throw the other big stops in there too...
APPARENTLY Polish promoters said that there is a good chance the band will play in gdansk and probably kicjk off the tour with that gig; it's a Festival date- Dave Gilmour and Jean-Michel Jarre played there in last two years... didn't find anything else anywhere, just on the City of Gdansk website...!
