I have quite a few forums I partake of. Alot of them like to have people revive old threads to liven things up. Is that a bad thing on this forum? There are a few people on here that don't seem to like it. To them I apologize. But I've noticed that not everyone on here posts "intelligent" things per se. In fact some of the posts on here are downright stupid , and that's great. Some of the more "unscrupulous" threads and posts make me laugh my butt off and keeps things interesting. In spite of that, can someone please post me the rules and regulations on this forum so that I can sufficiently follow them and keep from getting people ticked off? I already know everyone should use their good common sense when reviving old threads but sometimes it's kind of hard to tell what is "taboo" and what is "safe territory". THANKS! :) |

Rules: 1. Do as PG says. 2. Don't post again 3. If in doubt, see Rule 1. |

Your going to get abused no matter what u post and wherever forum u post it....... people on here are cruel and demaining and no getting away from it........such is life, and go with the flow and ignore the nasty responses and post what u feel like posting......if they don't like it, then they should'nt read it! But they do and will never end! Just wish Queen fans would realize it's just a post and nothing more.....and don't respond instead of posting nasty responses, but such is the way of the World, always something to B@#$ about.......... It's 2007 going on 2008, so let it go, and let queenzone be a NICE community site........ Is This the WORLD we Created........ Happy Holidays everyone! |

I don't know but did it bother anyone else that the quote mini mercury put up was redundant? If we're going to revive old threads we should whip out the lebanese thing again. that was good stuff. Assuming sombody can think of something to add to it that is clever and not lame. |

Much like posting threads in the wrong forum, reviving old threads is something that is looked down upon in nearly every forum community. |

Bump up interesting threads, not bad ones. You seem to love reviving threads to cause embarassement to the thread starter. |
Wiley 21.11.2007 13:18 |
I think it's better to "revive" a thread (after a week, a month or a year) than to open a new almost identical thread just to state the same. If reviving the thread can bring order and peace, then it's ok. If it's only for mocking purposes I think it's just a type of spam. |

But they do and will never end!YES IT'S CALLED "FORUM FURY", AKA "MESSAGE BOARD MAYHEM". KIND OF LIKE "ROAD RAGE" (You know, like when the speed limits 80 mph, and you're behind someone who's driving 50 mph, and you try to pass them, and they speed up to twice the speed they were going (that would be 100mph) just to keep you from passing, so they can serenade you all the way from point A to point B with you staring at their obnoxious ass-end the whole length of the way.) Reviving old threads - I hate people who do that. ;) As for my take, since I am the self-acknowledged 'Yoda' of Queenzone, and don't pop by more than two or three times a year due to this site's caustic and cerebrally draining nature, I think it's fine to rehash threads if they're good. Fatty's works of divine hilarity always warrant refreshing from time to time. On the other side of that coin, the first page always seems to be full of threads by sad, virginal, hormonally challenged 13 year-old girls wanking on about how much they'd love to get it on with the Roger from 40 fucking years ago. So, until quality becomes manditory, fuck the rules! |
