Hi everyone,
just a question for the Kiwis here. The DVD seems to be released officially everywhere by now, but nobody here has them. The Warehouse, Whitcoulls...I can't find the DVD anywhere. Maybe I just don't look enough, I don't know, but it would be awesome if one of you could point me to the right spot as to where to get it here in NZ.
Thank you
I've been looking too. Even Sounds haven't got it on their list. Try Amazon UK. they may have it, or Queenonline - they defenitley have it, and are pretty good to deal with as well. (in my limited experience). I have not had a problem at all in importing any dvd or cd.
Thanks for your reply. Well, I wanted to check other options first before I really import it.
Did you see the Foo Fighters Hyde Park DVD in stores? That one seems to be readily available, only 12.99 at the Warehouse. Brian and Roger are on it for We Will Rock You and Tie Your Mother Down, but the Foos are a great band anyway. :-))
Best wishes
Hey fellow kiwis.
Well i can confirm that QRM is out on CD as of monday (5th). I picked my copy up yesterday from Tracs here in Tauranga. However, the DVD is not yet out & the guy at the shop didn't have or couldn't find any information on a release date for it. Strange 'cos I thought all formats would have been released simultaneously, so will just have to hang on for another week or 2 I guess.
I checked for it on the Marbecks website yesterday & discovered it there - thats how I found out it had been released (the CD that is). Happy shopping!
I was wondering that myself, I've only seen the CD at the WWRY shop at the Civic
[EDIT] sorry, I have seen the CD at the usual places, I meant I saw the CD there first in October
Thanks for all your replies. When you're living in the wop-wops like me (Waikato), you can't just jump up and drive to the Civic. :-)) But I couldn't find it in Hamilton either, so I asked. Ah well...
From a "is it worth buying" point of view...similar setlist and all...do you need to have it when you have Milton Keynes already?
It is definitely well worth it - & I only have the CD, can't wait for the DVD. The sound recording is amazing. While it is a similar setlist to Milton Keynes (bar the HS tracks) & time period, the sound is differen't & best of all there are no synthesisers, just raw hard-out rock energy. Flash is amazing as up until now i'd never heard a proper live version of it - just the taped intro like on MK. Go buy it, you won't be disappointed!
Zebonka,
a) yes, Montreal is in Canada
b) it's not what this thread is about
c) what annoys you about this topic so much that you have to make a mock comment in it?

Nothing annoyed me. I had 43 seconds to kill.
PS. Get that sand out of your vagina/mangina.
