Well, at least it wasn't someone new. We don't need any more people who aim to ruin recordings.
Nice to know the nail is in the coffin for this show. I guess most people don't want to know how much better the lower gen tape sounds.
Preserving quality is such a simple concept...i don't understand how anyone could actually be against it, and i'd love to know what their arguments are.
If you really want the common 2-9-76 show in mp3, I can share it if I still have it, but I think I deleted it because the sound quality was much worse than VG+. Obviously I do not have the 1-9-76 show.
I will return to the US from India on Nov 15th, and can check if I have it ... if you want the TWO-9-76 show in mp3.
Ah ... I recall that I did this flac/mp3 scam prank a few weeks before I regretfully shared Sir GH's great Cologne 1979 compilation in mp3 in a misguided retalliation attempt.

And just think, if you hadn't done that, a version from a lower gen tape might've been posted here ages ago...
I had over-reacted, and interpreted (as censorship) your request for the poster to remove the lossy 2-9-76 in trade for you uploading 19-6-86 in flac. I should not have stooped to such a low level of sharing Cologne 79 in mp3 when you specifically requested it not be shared in mp3.
Before and after the "Cologne 79" incident, I have always respected the uploader's boilerplate request to not share in mp3 despite disagreeing with the request.
By the way, Peter Patrao (from Panchgani) indirectly "insulted" you. He thought that I was from Canada, before I told him I was an American from Chicago.
