As requested, here comes the mediafire re-upload of the 1984 demo tape. For those of you who don't know this band, it's the band where Brian May played guitar and Tim Staffell harmonica. When this band ended, Brian and Tim created a new band, called Smile. Roger Taylor joined Smile and I hope I don't have to tell you what happened after that :-)

Enjoy and thanks to the original uploaders. And a remark to John S. Stuart and the webmaster of queencuttings.com - if you have something against this share, notify me and I'll delete the last file.
Yippee Yippee Yeah !!!!
Thanks a lot man, this is incredible share !!!
And FLAC files, so quality guaranteed !!!
Thanks to the original sharer, and to you Pittrek, thank you very much !!!!
For you new queen fans, from the new generation, here is a god chance to hear Queen as they were before being... Queen !!! Well, at least Brian May on his first recorded guitar parts, and Tim Staffel, nearly a Queen member, hopefully replaced by Freddie Mercury in Smile, that became Queen eventually.
You can find tracks from Smile officially released, just seach for it on Amazon or Ebay, "Ghost of a Smile".
You can also find some tracks by "The Left-Handed Marriage", a band in which Brian gave his help at this pre-Queen period, but if they were officially released they can be more difficult to find, they do exist on certain bootlegs, maybe just ask our fellow Queen collectors for these ! But as you know, officially released tracks can't be shared here...
The big thing of the year would be to have some "Sour Milk Sea", "Reaction", or other pre-Queen bands to be shared here, to complete the historical part. But these files are pretty rare, and this is only depending on the good mood of the few ones of us who could have those files...
One last thank to you Pittrek to link additional information to that share, really great !!! It seems that we have a great package on offer here ;o)

Patience, and it will eventually work !!!
so here is a good view of the 1984 work at the time.
And as said in the joint notes, the tape is not complete :
Maybe this stuff is missing: "Get Out My Life Woman"/"Satisfaction" and "My Girl".
So can anyone explain why these tracks are missing, or if they are available somewhere ?
For additional info (as said too in the joint notes), this comes from Dave Dilloway's cassette, Dave Dilloway being one of the musicians of 1984.
Thanks a lot !
regards,
Olivier.

Yes, those 2 tracks are missing and are still rare. I know two at least 2 persons who have the complete tape so I hope I will also have it one day :)
Hi Richy Mercury,
Just download and read the additional information Pittrek gently added, you could see that the Dave Dilloway (ex-member of 1984) caseettes were sold on auction some years ago. I saw John S. Stuart's name appearing just next to the price... So we have to thank him, am I wrong ?

Actualy it was right here at Queenzone.
An anonymous source set five copies of the CD to five people from Queenzone, and one of them shared the files here a few weeks after that.
This is the topic in wich the tape was offered link
I have the original files from wich remaster was made. and i belive the torrent still exists here: link
The missing tracks are still rare.
Unfortunately we live in a world where some people will only trade, and so the missing tracks will have been held back for that very purpose.
Whilst some people don't like that , it has to be said that a lot of the stuff that has appeared on QZ over the years has only appeared because someone had some "rare" tracks which they traded for other rare tracks which later leaked.
When the missing tracks lose their trading power, THEN they will no doubt appear here and if anyone STILL doesn't understand why trading still goes on, let me just say that it could be that if the 1984 tracks that are available hadn't leaked when they did, we might have had the Reaction tracks YEARS before now...
