Hello everybody,
My first share on Queenzone. I wanted to add my contribution to Queenzone, but unfortunately my collection is not that big compared to some other queenzoners here, so I offer what I can ! And until now I was much more into information than in live music itself (such a vast field I could not find time enough to search for this yet).
This is not music nor video, but hope it can be a valuable information to some of us, so here are the links to download the pictures taken from LP bootlegs. I'll probably add some new pictures in the newt months, and myabe I could manage to find some time to make the same thing with Cds bootlegs too.
So for the moment here are about 50 bootlegs on LP pictured, with details of the sleeves and discs when I found them useful. so these are big files, so you can use the zoom function without too many problems if necessary.
Please don't ask for the tracks of these vinyls, since I don't have a turntable yet nor a decent Pc to rip the files on numeric format for the moment (sad !! if someone wishes to contribute then you could donate some money, on link lol). I don't sell these vinyls too, but I am always looking for new ones ;o).
Hope this share could be of an interest for some of you !

Ps : download everything before unzipping !
A little note, I recomend you to use the word "digital" instead of "numeric", it took me some time to understand :-)
Thanks for the covers. Would you find the time to transfer some LPs IF somebody writes some nice tutorial how to do it without any "special" equipment ?
Well, it's not that easy for me as I don't have any turntable !!!!
But if I had one, well sure I would do that, no problem. I would be happy to add my contribution to Queenzone.
That share was a way for me to get more familiar with mediafire and Queenzone as far as sharing is concerned.
In fact, I'm planning to recycle some of the Flac files shared here and offer them on mediafire, for people like me that can't use mediafire, and for Queenzone beginners who missed some of the files shared. For that I will have to ask some files missing on two or three concerts, before doing that. Hope it could be done before the end of the year, as it could be ready for Christmas !! I will need some time to reunite the files, zip them properly and upload.
I also plan to take pictures of my bootlegs CDs and offer them here, grabbing the files could be much more easier and then I could upload them, I have a rough 50 CDs too, and I'm still waiting for a 20 or 30 more ones but in the next mounths.
My goal is to offer these files in a single thread, as a sort of reference for the beginners. Of course it would only be Flac files (we already talked about that harm MP3 do to the music if we share it...).
Well, if someone close to my home in northern France or Belgium could give some help with decent equipment I could ask for putting the files of the vinyls on Flac format and share them here too.
Once that done, we could have two threads, one with the information (with the pictures of the bootlegs and one with the FLAC files of these bootlegs); and maybe a third with the live concerts that I had downloaded and that could be offered anew.
Of course I won't deserve any credit for those, as they were already offered, but it would be an easy way for the beginners to have some good Queen shows easily and to learn become more familiar wiht FLAC format and so on.
Unfortunately I can't download the files shared with torrent, so it would not be that extended, only 30 gigs or so, as I'm myself quite new on Queenzone (as far as downloading is concerned). But it could be useful for some Queenzoners, I myself would have been happy to have these files ready to be downloadable. I don't forget the thread that was launched some time ago with a link to all the gigs shared here, but it also included broken mediafire links and torrents, my goal would be to link directly to the mediafire files that I would re-upload, in one single thread, and to list only mediafire downloads. It would avoid the "PLEASE RE-SEED" messages, and would be downloadable for some time. But that's just a project, I still need time and some material !! For example some files are missing from the Puebla gig shared here by our Grand Bob, and two other gigs too (I can't remember which ones right now).
And it could lead to other members doing the same with gigs shared here before (those famous broken mediafire links). A sort of catalogue for beginners to let everyone be roughly at the same point as far as live files are concerned.
As far as the vinyl tracks are concerned, I'm ready to grab the files if someone can help me on this point.
Well, have a nice weekend everybody !!

Unfortunately my scanner is not big enough, it's just A4 format, the sleeves don't fit in !!!
Bt I should be luckier with the CD sleeves, I'll try this in the next weeks, good point Bob, it will be that easier and maybe greater quality indeed !
Bob and its never-ending course for perfection... You got the point man !!
Thanks a lot for your advise,

Transferring vinyl to PC is fairly easy without specialist equipment. Assuming you have a turntable already, use the left and right RCA jack plugs that usually come with the turntable and plug them into the audio jacks on a USB capture device (probably something like Dazzle) which you can pick up anywhere for around £20. Then using the software of your choice (possibly Audacity), capture away!
Yes, I heard about this system, but with negative opinions. I was told there was a sort of processing done to the sound on the way that could affect the sound on the way and therefore would not give the best result available, so I wondered if it was something really interesting to do. Thanks a lot if you can give your opinion about that. I'm talking of quality as Bob's standards are, I mean the closer to the original possible !!!
