Ok i have the back to the light singles and Resurrection (japan) but this one never heard about it.
I suppose that it is bootleg but what about the emi Uk catalogue?. The serie number is
CDP: 0910780619
but the year of released is unknown
A very good bootleg so?
Anyone has more info about this item?
Thanks again
Since it's officially-released material on the CD, this definitely is a *pirate*, not a bootleg. Bootlegs contain unofficial material, whereas pirates contain official material. People tend to call all unofficial recordings *bootlegs*, but very often that isn't the case, as they're either pirates or counterfeits. Perhaps this CD could even qualify as a counterfeit, depending on how professional the back of the CD looks.

If this is a Pirate.....it´s perfect. Get this is the same that get an original...wow
Thanks PieterMC for the link....you still think that is a bootleg or Pirate as you wish?
The art is one thing, but the disc is a silver. Since the material is official (both image and sound), it's a damn good pirate/counterfeit. Impressive.
But again... if it wasn't actually released on CD previously, can it qualify as a counterfeit? Now we're getting into semantics... but a counterfeit is something that's packaged to look like something that exists... and this doesn't exist as an official release, so...

I do have a life, thanks. I play 8-10 gigs a week, and tonight I'm playing for about 2,000 people.
Just because I have hobbies and take great interest in them doesn't mean I don't have a life outside of them.

Looking at the cover, the thing that gives it away will be the date. The only one shown is 1983 when it was released. I'm pretty sure that CD's weren't around then, so if it was released on CD a few years later, that date would also be displayed somewhere, if I'm not mistaken.

I read recently an article - i think it was on Brian´s soapbox- where he comented about having to release the Staer Fleet on CD sometime.
So, yes the CD wasn´t released in the past.
Take care
