I woner if anyone can help?! I've got 2 postcards, each with a vinyl imprint in the gloss. They can be played on a record player. One plays Larry Lurex - Going Back, and one plays Smile - Earth. I've them tucked away in my collection for years, and have recently tried to find some information about them - with no success! I think they are from poland? but not totally sure. If any of you guys have any info about these, that would be fabulous! many thanks, glyn.
There are lots of these sort postcard things by many different artists. Most -if not all- of them coming from Eastern Europe (Russia). I know of about 20 different Queen tracks that have been used for these items. As there are also postcards with tracks from Innuendo, it looks as if these items als still produced today.
If you are asking if they are worth anything; not realy. As these are non-official items, there are not many collectors that collect them. You see them quite regularly on recordfairs (well, over here you do anyway) and most of them are priced for about 10 to 20 euro's. But I don't think I've ever came across a collector that actually payed that amount of money for them...
Thanks Jeroen. Yep! I suspected they weren't too valuable. But I'll be keeping hold of them anyway! I've had them in my collection for 20 years now...it would feel strange to sell them! Glyn.
