I got tickets, too! They're coming to Sacramento. I'm so excited, it's the closest thing to a Queen concert I'll ever get. I'm sure I'll have a wonderful time.
ROFL!!! Fair assessment though ......... though there are many who enjoy it (because they don't know any better)
Are they really that bad?
I hope not. Oh well, I'm sure it will be fun for me anyways.
Don't let us get you down :) Have a fun night out,
I can only go on the live recordings I've heard and the consistently negative comments I've heard from people who've seen them.
Get a refund and go buy something by the real thing.
The only concert I ever walked out of. Shoddy beyond belief. Promoting themselves as being close to the real thing is criminal.
There was a big thread about them a while back. Maybe you can find it.
My experience (and what I posted then) was I was really impressed by Freddie (Craig Pesco) and they put on a pretty good show, but the band sucked (especially the drummer) and the sound started great but someone cranked it half-way through the show and it became almost unlistenable.
Someone else posted that they've improved since I saw them though and a bunch of other people said they generally suck.
My advice is enjoy the show. Anytime Queen music is played live God unkills a kitten.

Definitely not...
Gary Mullen probably can make that claim, though.
I was going to see gary mullen. I had a ticket, I was ready to go and then the phone rang. Gary was sick and the show was cancelled! I hope he visits belgium in the future. I will go to see him then and hopefully that show will not be cancelled:-)
That's what I thought as well, watching the crowd arrive. But then I wound up sitting next to a couple of sisters. They looked as though they were around 12/13. I've never seen anyone look so shocked at a single swear in my life...
