Is it actually going to happen? I've heard different things.
It'd be nice if they toured again so I can get better seats and not have to sit two rows from the back. ;P
Has anyone heard anything that could be considered official, as in "Yes, we will be touring" or "No we won't" or "We're not even sure yet" ?
Brian was on the news a few months ago on the TV collecting something (I can't remember) from our Queen again.
He was later interviewed by Sky News about it. He was also asked about the Queen and Paul Rodgers tour and album. He stated it'll happen in 2008. He didn't say when or what month. Just that things will happen in 2008.
I've been TRYING to look for a link on the Sky News website and I'm finding nothing.
Anyway, I'm hoping hes being honest and it'll happen. I need to start saving again.

Where did you go to see them? :-D
I saw them at Hyde Park, London.

The Singles Box set was announced for March this year....the simplified version of this is "plans change"

But then again... Paul hasn't confirmed anything when asked. They'll probably release the studio album first, and hopefully decide to promote that with a tour.. Anyway, I don't think they'll do another nostalgia tour. If they'll tour, it's gonna be because of the new stuff they're working on.
Brian said in Liverpool a few months ago in the arena he was in perhaps queen should play there, Roger has said he would like another tour, with new stuff and Paul has said that a tour shoul happen to showcase where the band is now and not just old hits. Also Jamie Moses has kept his diary free from August next year??? so who knows
My guess is that they'll tour the U.K. and europe in the Spring, and probably headline one of these retro-rock festivals that are back in style. I'm going to see Def Leppard with Styx and Foreigner in a week. It's Queen's best option in the USA sadly/probably. But if they don't tour the USA, I'll be sad and dissapointed but unsurprised. Nor will I carry any hard feelings. Queen and soccer just don't get the same response here for some reason. I'm right onboard with soccer, but bitterly in disbelief at the lack of popularity Queen has here compared with everywhere else.
Heren is a link of a short interview Paul did in Norway this summer. He played in Skaanevik, Norway.
They will go in studio in October, and work with 9 tracks. But, this is well known now, isn't it? link

That was only for an alternate reality. Haven't you EVER read a comic?
I thought that I remembered Paul saying something about the album coming out probably in fall 2008 followed by a tour.
As far as the USA goes, I sure hope they come back here... and come to Texas this time around... if it's an issue with filling the venues, then they should do an amphitheatre tour... or they could have someone like Def Leppard or Journey open up for them and do arenas... I don't think they'd have a problem with either of thouse routes...
Just, come to Dallas.
well one concert next year 27th of June 2008 Hyde park 46664 anounced today, I expect Brian, Roger, Paul and the rest of the band to perform could be another warm up before a tour kicks off
Don't count your blessings!
It'll probably be just Brian and Roger.
Besides *IF* they decide to do a tour afterall, this show would not be the warm-up - it'll be somewhere halway into the tour.
