What part of I'm not jealous of you people didn't you seem to understand? I honestly don't care and it doesn't bother me seeing couples kissing out in public. But I do know that some people have issues with it, and I know that whenever I am in a relationship with someone I am respectful enough that I don't do things like that in front of people that I know have problems or are made uncomfortable with such behavior.

Yeah,Ignacio tends to like to carry Cam around, which he really doesn't like. He's quite curious and loves to bounce all around the house. I just bought him some kitty toys today so he is very happy:) Do you mean the girl with the glasses?? That is Ignacio's friend. The last one is their father, who looks like a grown-up Mateo. ;)

Actually MiamiVice, I was going to the UK anyway this December. My roommate from last year is Scottish and she invited me to come over and visit her and the other Scot in the history department last year for Christmas. I just decided that I'd fly into London instead of Glasgow and visit Jox for a couple of days since I was going over anyway. And now I have to go to be able to slap him for all of the naughty things he's saying. ;-)

Kind of a long story, but in a nutshell: There is a guy in the department who is 30, just out of the military, still does consulting work for the Pentagon. He prides himself on his "real world" experience and wants to be the mentor to all of the rest of us; tell us what the "Real World" is like and mentor us through it...because he's the only one who knows. The rest of us are morons. He's also one of those guys who can smile at you while he's stabbing you in the back. Last year he teamed up with a girl I thought was a friend of mine and started making veiled accustions about me. We were all members of the Historians Honors Society (Phi Alpha Theta) and I was treasurer for the group. We were also all friends. I admit I wasn't the best treasuerer on the planet, but I was TRYING to clean up a major mess that I inherited dealing with lack of records and stuff. This girl decides that I must be stealing money from the group, and even though she's graduated out she's friends with this asshole guy, who decides to tell certain faculty members in the history department his suspicions. Needless to say I was pissed, because whether or not I was funded again this year as a GA hadn't been decided yet by the faculty group in charge of those kinds of decisions. Had he told the right people I could have gotten de-funded, or even kicked out of school. When I confront him on it, he turns it all on me and makes horrible statements about me and my friends, saying I "really don't have as many friends in the group as I thought." I can see that this is only going to end badly, so I leave the group because he's made it impossible for me to stay in it and because I'm still trying to protect my friends from him. If he's got an issue with me fine, but don't drag anyone else into it. Last night I went to an academic presentation sponsored by the group; the presenter was a friend of mine, so I was going come hell or high water. Afterwards, this guy comes up to me and starts conversing with me like I'm his best friend in the world. I'm not buying a word of it, and walk away to get stuff in my office and get out of there. He corners me in my office, saying all kinds of horrid things about me. I decide to call him out and tell him that if he has a problem with me that's fine, then take it out on me, but don't take it out on my friends, which they've all told me you are doing. He of course denies it, and at this point I say, "I've got nothing left to say to you. Leave my office now." He looks at me, in his superior way, and says, "That's too bad Margaret," and starts to walk away. My jaw hits the floor and I'm speechless because NO ONE calls me that unless I tell them it's ok...presumptuous asshole. Then he comes back into the office and says, "Now don't cry," and walks off. As if I would waste tears on his immature behavior since he's dragging out the conflict and involving other people who shouldn't be involved in it at all.

hehe i sorta mixed the idea from steven tyler and freddie and brians black/white nails thing. people are loving them so far, ive gotten lots of compliments. i want to paint a pink stripe down the middle XD
