I just checked out Royal Hunt on myspace and i have to say that their songwriting is WAY more simple than ours. Their songs are based on a few chords that repeats through the whole song. The keyboardist while being more skilled than ours just uses it as a solo instrument mostly while ours build a whole song with it, melody that continues not just 3 or 4 chords. It was very simple songwriting, basic stuff. If you claim that band has more complex songstructure than us then you dont know what you are talking about, our melodies are much longer than a few seconds of repeated chords.

What are you talking about? I'm not sure you can even tell where the classical influence is in your songs. The only remotely and I mean REMOTELY classically influenced song I can hear of the four is Endless Void. That's only because it is purely a piano piece that...I'm not quite sure how to word this, has the certain "feel" to it. (Personally, I think it sounds more contemporary.) The rest of your songs sound very 80's, to be truthful. That doesn't mean they sound bad, but they aren't classically influenced. I could keep going, but I want to wait and see what you have to say.

There is a great deal of difference between technical perfection and emotional perfection, the one being a physical function of structure and the other being a personal preference solely dependant on a poem's individual resonance. I find the majority of Keats' poetry to be utterly enlightening and breathtaking;

however, I revere many poets besides, including Frost, Thomas and (especially) Whitman. Indeed, Whitman epitomizes a wild perfection of form, a perfection achieved through the aggressively idiosyncratic.
