Really?
The general consensus on all the other threads about this is that it's the best cover they've made since Return of the Champions.
Maybe Im wrong, Ill have to re-read the 60 or so posts in other threads about this exact same topic.
I, for one, am thrilled at the chance of having another great concert on Vinyl in a great looking package.
I am a little curious about that track listing. Now I'm not the one you want making up set lits, but were FLASH and THE HERO played immediately after the guitar solo? Together? Seems like a convient place to edit them in. But I wasn't at the show to tell if that's where they were played.
maybe it's not the best cover in the world, but one thing for sure is that it will stand out like a sore thumb in the record shops - and that's just what they want!

Well does somebody mind putting a link in here showing this DVD cover? I've done alot of searches for it and can't find it so where are you looking to find it?

Unfortunately, the film image on those tracks has been lost,so a certain amount of editing was required.Other than that, the show was pretty much as you see it! It was shot on wonderful 35mm film by the sadly departed Saul Swimmer, and the avaliable quality is one reason why it has been dug out of the archives,Queen had NOTHING to do with the original video release way back in '84.As for the cover,so many people are involved in these things! What's important is inside, right?

Not at all. If that were the case, all albums would be released with plain packaging, no pictures and no liner notes. It's attention to detail, and pride in the entire release that makes something special. Imagine if Queen II was released with the same font for Queen Rock Montreal and same crappy picture. Wouldn't be the same album.

Those were played right after Under Pressure.
...leaving the door open for the 2012 DVD/CD release of the concert in the exact order it was performed. Great! I figured as much. Does anyone know where I can get an "I LOVE QP" T-Shirt?

Wishful thinking.
You know, I like the blue color and the contrast with the letters but the image is blurry and I don't like Queen covers that only feature Freddie.
Looks good for a (crappy) poster, advertisement for the release or something, but not for the actual cover. :S

You know, I just imaged for a second... if instead of "Queen Rock Montreal + Live Aid" it read "Queen Smash Hammersmith '79 + '75" I think it would be an awesome release and we would all rave about the product, even praise Richard Gray for the solemnity and simplicity of the cover.
Too bad the content is nothing new. What is there left to say now? Let's hope they release a better product in a few years time. :S

Vinyls are extremelly expensive, but it´s quality is worth every cent. The new vinyls have such a warm sound. I can´t wait!
