Hello,
would this be an interesting contribution? I have not discovered it on any bootleg so far or do I need glasses?
If someone is interested I might offer it for download. Maybe someone else has such a gem like this. For instance a full live version of "March of the Black Queen" would be a smash.
Whaddayasay?
it's available in several downloads in this announce section. The japanese 76 gigs and also some ANATO '75 shows.
There is no recording of Queen playing the full MOTBQ. Did they play it in full?

No they didn't play MOTBQ full... probably too complex

I thought so, but I thought I read a quote (on link from john saying they rehearsed it.

I think they were just lazy. A lot of early 70's prog rock bands played songs much more complex than March of the Black Queen. Take a look at the (especially) early Genesis live recordings. They play stuff like Dancing with the Moonlit Knight live.
I guess they didn't play MOTBQ in full because they were not a real progressive rock band.
A fair point... but to Queen's credit, those early Genesis albums (amazing as they are) don't have dozens of voices. Instrumentally, they definitely could have pulled off pretty much anything in their catalogue. It was just the voices that were the problem.
