I'm making a personal compilation of some of the best live performances, and the worse thing is, finding a great performance, but it being in terrible quality, meaning i can't use it. So i've put together an uncompleted list, of gigs which i've heard at least a couple of tracks of a decent enough quality. Some are bordering on the quality, but i put them in, to stop you wasting time. If anybody could add to this it'd be great!
1973 - Golders Green
1974 - Portland, Rainbow
1975 - Hammersmith
1976 - Osaka
1977 - Earls Court, Houston
1978 - Chicago, Copenhagen, Dallas, Montreal, Vancouver
1979 - Cologne, Hammersmith
1980 - Chicago, Wembley
1981 - Buenos Aires Sao paulo, Montreal
1982 - Elland Road, Milton keynes, Nagoya, New York, Osaka, Vienna
1984 - Birmingham, Milan,
1985 - Live Aid, Osaka, Sydney, Tokyo,
1986 - Barcelona, Berlin, Budapest, Mannheim, Stockholm, Wembley,

Yeah, I know. Urk '83 is much better than Milton Keynes the previous year and the recording is marvelous.
Too bad Queen would never release it because of Freddie's "Rivers of Blood" speech.
:D

What did he say?

he said that Queenzoners like to bullshit about concerts that never happened like Urk 83, Lollapaloza 91, and USSR 72
Yeah, I was there too. So were The Miracle, Fairy King and some others. Pretty good show, though I could've done without John Deacon doing the lead-vocals on Spread Your Legs and they should've left out Misfire altogether.
Oh, and USSR wasn't 1972. They played in the Bolshoi in 1976, between the end of the ANATO-tour and the start of the Training For The Races sub-tour. I've only ever seen fragments of the show, but apparently Freddie didn't make many friends by showing up dressed like Stalin.

god, you are right! how could I have said 72? I have the Transexual,Translyvannia concert from 1977 during the Rocky Horror/Queen Universe-wide tour where Freddie and David Bowie sung a duet on Death On Two Legs while the Rocky Horror cast danced naked in the background.
Some addition :
what about Montreal 82, it;s nice great quality and the audience is frantic..

I must have the crap copy of Chicago 80 from The Horizon, because it is muffled and way too 'bass-y'.
Nice link, Mike Van. And good sources. A few years ago, I used Guitar Hero's recommendations to purchase many from different tours to help fill in the gaps.
