Well, I just think that his directing style would be a great way to tell Freddie's story: rather grand, colourful, and, full of tongue in cheek, sort of kitchiness(is that a word?), along with an undercurrent of vulnerability--I dunno. I just have a rather vivid image of how I'd like to see the film done, and, PTA films seem to hint at that image.
Only that the Borat guy is going to play Freddie, which pains me, terribly. I think that is a done deal, though, I could be wrong, and, am reallyreally hoping that I am.
I don't think I even know who is directing, only that it isn't PTA.

really? thats the opposite to what i heard!
about Borat i mean, not PTA link
Ok, so maybe MTV.com isnt the MOST reliable of sources, but im sure i remember seeing it on CNN too, that he's not playing freddie.
The Borat guy is not going to be Freddie. That was only a rumour because someone said he looked like him and they considered him but he is not going to play Freddie now.
This makes me so happy! My tired old lump of grey matter just could not wrap itself around the idea of the Borat guy as the charismatic, gifted singer of Queen.
