Hello, after downloading stuff from here it's time to give you something back. This is a part of my demo collection. I'll upload only the songs where I'm 100% sure they're genuine Queen demos. In the case you believe that something from this collection is fake, feel free to write a comment. They're uploaded mostly on rapidshare (sorry) and unfortunately most of them are only mp3 format (sorry again). I have tried to put here those demos in best available quality, but maybe somebody has them in better quality and / or lossless, so if you belong to those people you know what to do :-) Wreckage - Green versions -=======================- 1-Green 4:18(it ends at 4:13 and have some chat) 2-Green 3:38(very different version) 3-Green 4:31 These songs are NOT on Freddie's box set. link Uploaded by L-R-Tiger Queen sessions -=============- 1) Polar Bear (take 1) - downloaded from Mr.Scully's first website, the good old myth was that Barry Mitchell is playing bass on this one, but it is of course bulls*t, it's our Deacy link 2) Polar Bear (including studio chat) - provided by John S. Stuart link 3) Feelings (or whatever the name of this song is) link 4) Silver Salmon - written for eponymous album, but this recording comes as I believe from News Of The World sessions. link 5) Great King Rat (take 1) (complete version, thanks to the original uploader) link 6) Great King Rat (take 4) (incomplete) - please if you have a more complete version, share it ! link De Lane Lea demos - lossless Keep Yourself Alive link Great King Rat link others will follow when I find the time for it Queen II sessions -===============- Funny how love is (take 5) - original convention recording link Funny how love is (take 5) - Queenzone user Bobek removed Greg saying "property of Queen productions" link The March Of The Black Queen (takes 3, 4, and 5) link A Day At The Races sessions -=========================- Somebody To Love (alternate chorus) link News Of The World sessions -========================- Feelings, Feelings (take 9) link We Will Rock You (instrumental backing track) - provided by John S. Stuart link Jazz sessions -===========- Don't Stop Me Now / Jealousy - some people think it's fake, but some are sure it's genuine, please tell me what you think about it. link The Game sessions -===============- Sandbox (instrumental jam session) link Hot Space sessions -================- Feel Like (later transformed into "Under Pressure") link Las Pallabras De Amor (album version has different lyrics) link Staying Power (more "rock" sounding version than the album one) link Life Is Real link |

Any demos from Innuendo sessions ? |
michaelkars 31.07.2007 11:59 |
"Funny how love is take 5 - Bobek's remastred version (removed "property of Queen productions")" this is no remix; It'd still "property of queenproductions" |

Thank you very much. More sessions would be very appreciated. |

Another demos were uploaded ! |

Many Thanks for those great Demos. Does Freddie really sing "You make me smile when i'm just About to DIE" in the delilah demo? And: Does there exist a version of There must be more to life than this as a duet with Freddie? The provided version has only MJ as in the vocals. edit: Ok, i read that the duet version is a fan mix. It only exists MJ's Demo & the Mr. bad Guy Version. |

Denno 16.08.2007 13:12 |
I don't understand... if you listen to the Silver Salmon demo you can clearly hear Freddie talking about the song to someone and asking Roger(?) to play just the rhythm part. Then the demo itself was inserted at that point. We know that the demo is kinda Queen I period. Freddie's voice appears to be studio early to mid eighties. What is the story behind the studio talk? Please clarify. |
pittrek 16.08.2007 13:41 |
The MYTH is that it was recorded during the NOTW sessions, and Freddie's "we want to play Silver Salmon but he doesn't know it" should be about John Deacon, who didn't know the song. But I would also like to know the FACTS about this song |
The King Of Rhye 18.08.2007 07:44 |
is it just me or is Feelings nothing more than a different version of Feelings, Feelings........which would date it to the NOTW sessions if so........it doesnt really sound like early-70s-Freddie to my ears either.... thanks though, cool stuff! |

pittrek 30.08.2007 12:16 |
The funny thing is that I've used the same arguments a couple of months ago in some other thread :) But still it's a theory (even when I agree) |
pittrek 30.08.2007 13:13 |
OK I have added something, those are just demos shared by other people on various "weird" servers, I have re-uploaded them to rapidshare. Next things will be up probably on weekend |
ern2150 30.08.2007 14:27 |
pittrek, would you mind using MassMirror for these files? It would eliminate the stupid wait times for rapidshare, but would still show up there, as well as several other popular upload sites. |
pittrek 30.08.2007 15:02 |
I can try it, but rapidshare is simply the best server, that's why I'm using it |

You can definitely delete the link to that Don't Stop Me Now. It's just some random person playing it... |
pittrek 06.09.2007 03:29 |
Yes, it's a demo of Don't Stop Me Now, but after listening closely it's definitely NOT Queen |

I have uploaded again some new demos. I would like to ask you what do you think about the Don't Stop Me Now / Jealousy demo, because I've heard it's fake. |
bigV 27.09.2007 07:47 |
Is the "Somebody To Love (Alternate Chorus)" demo actually genuine? I've seen it on the Hub, but I always assumed that it's a fake. V. |

pittrek wrote: I have uploaded again some new demos. I would like to ask you what do you think about the Don't Stop Me Now / Jealousy demo, because I've heard it's fake. It's a fan mix of the original album version Jealousy and the karaoke version plusx album version of DSMN. These two songs were never jointed as a demo (far as we know. but it would not make sence either because the one was one of the first recordings fot the album while the other was one of the last.). There is no known genuine DSMN demo "available". There is a Jealousy demo though, but it is instrumental (and extended) with slightly different instrumentation. Slightly, but the difference to the albumversion is still very clearly audiable on that one. |
