It was pretty good, but they put all the best stuff in the trailer imo! |

I'm scared to watch it.... I like the TV show, and I'm afraid if the movie is bad it will kill it for me. But I am confronted by it all day long because my bakery is running a promotion with the local cinema and we have posters of it hanging up all over the bakery. |

Aww...I liked it. Only time I've ever heard a whole cinema full of Brits erupt into laughter at more than one point in the movie. A mixture of the crude and clever, although naturally more people laughed at the crude jokes than the clever jokes. |
Haystacks Calhoun II 31.07.2007 11:13 |
The movie is hilarious....how anyone could think otherwise is beyond me. Seen it twice. |
The Real Wizard 31.07.2007 13:34 |
The movie is brilliant. It is by far the best Simpsons of the past 10 years. |

I couldn't believe the EPA guy's last name was Cargill. You wouldn't believe the problems people have with that name. ;-P |

The first half was really funny but the second half I thought was rather lame. I agree though all the best stuff was in the Trailors and shown on TV which ruined the film for me a bit. |
iGSM 07.08.2007 09:12 |
I enjoyed it. Why's it written on a leaf? |
pittrek 07.08.2007 10:18 |
Well my friend (a big Simpsons fan) said it's total bullshit, so now I don't know if I wanna see it. I'll definitely wait for the DVD but maybe I'll go to the cinema, if I manage to get home some times :-) |
iGSM 07.08.2007 10:31 |
Don't trust your friend. |
Saint Jiub 09.08.2007 00:18 |
My two sons and I loved it, but my wife did not because she thought there was too much violence and bad language. |

*(azzadude)* ..GET DOWN MAKE LOVE! wrote::-) He loves Bohemian Rhapsody and Stone Cold Crazy :-)iGSM wrote: Don't trust your friend.Exactly. I mean, does your friend like Queen? BTW I've seen the movie yesterday and while it wasn't really bad, it was not very original, and I was bored most of the time. I mean how many times more will Marge leave Homer ? If they would cut out Alaska, it could be a much better movie. And I agree, it was unnecessary violent, but on the other side, I don't understand how can someone take CHILDREN to this or allow to watch them Simpsons or Futurama. |
Sweetie 09.08.2007 07:01 |
Well I still loved it...SPIDER PIG is sexy...and...was Hairy Plobber or something? And in Alaska how the bear thinggy that is about to attack Homer walks off and kicks the little brown animal...(Sorry I had just walked in when that happened and don't really remember it that well...) |
pittrek 09.08.2007 08:23 |
Hm, you think pigs are sexy ? Interesting ... :-) The Alaska part was simply weird, "mystical", exactly the opposite of the series |
Sergei. 09.08.2007 15:33 |
XD I love it when the little forest animals are undressing Marge and Homer, and the little birds can't manage to undress Homer, so they need an eagle to help them out or something... xD |
inmydefence 09.08.2007 18:44 |
It was BRILLIANT. the laugh out loud moment for me was Homer trying to use the Crane with the demolition ball to break the other simpsons out of the prison van! Stuck between a rock and a hard place! Fuck that made me laugh! |
Sergei. 12.08.2007 21:53 |
Haha, I just saw it again. XD This HAS to be the funniest part of the movie.... link |

I found spider pig on the floor today! actually it was just an off cut of red plastic and Amber picked it up and I'm like 'IT'S AN OINKY!!!' and then I said it was Spider Pig...and then Amber picked up another bit and I said It was a horse... |

I wanted to see it so bad but I was with a friend and her 11 year-old sister, and her parents thought it would be too innapropriate for her. I was really mad. I doubt that it's too inappropriate for an eleven year-old. Grrr. |
Sweetie 15.08.2007 07:07 |
^ Indeed it wasn't. |

I doubt that it's too inappropriate for an eleven year-old. Grrr. For conservative parents it would indeed be inappropiate for an 11 year old. It all depends on how open are parents to let their kids enjoy some sex humor. Personally if I was 11 and my parents didn't allow me to watch it, I would sneak to the movie and laugh my ass off. The humor is quite more raunchy than for the average Simpsons episode. We get a glance at Bart's wee-wee, but the hilarious part of it is how they cover every single part of his body except "there" for 2 seconds. The part where Marge and Homer are about to have sex and the Disney-like animals are taking off their clothes is hilarious too. Otto using a bong was really funny. After all, we all knew that he was a stoner. My favorite part of the movie was the reference to the classic episode "Bart The Daredevil" where both Homer and Bart make it to the other side of the Springfield gorge to find the same ambulance that crashed against the tree all rusty. I wish we could have seen more of Skinner and his mother, and also Ralph Wiggum... Although Ralph said the funniest line of the movie: "I like boys now". |
