Fantastic reply, which clearly flew right over his head. The songs are trite and derivative. The production makes them sound more like demos, not finished songs. The melodies are good I suppose, but the voice isn't bringing much life to them. Where has your "our music is the best and everyone who disagrees with us is an idiot" attitude gotten you so far? Any gigs? A record deal? Listen to "Wind Him Up" by Saga. It has everything this song has, and much, much more. You guys are 25 years too late.

U2 might be a bit overrated but they surely have a distinctive sound if you pay attention. They have some good rocker-ish songs, some good pop and some very cool electronic tracks. Bono is a better singer than your singer and, actually, The Edge's sound has kinda grown on me on each listen. I don't particularly like Coldplay and Chris Martin's voice annoys me a bit but I think "Yellow" is a cool track. If I saw your 'band' play in some party or small gig, I would think that you had something good going on but it is not exciting or particularly memorable and your attitude doesn't help. And, since when has Zanzibar been part of Iran? Freddie might have been a parsee but I don't think he ever acknowledged any of his heritage.

Queen were innovative. They pushed the limits and tried new & different things with their music. You, on the other hand, are doing nothing new. I think these arguments have gone too far and saying "it's all about tastes" is of no use with you. I am not in a band, my songwriting and singing skills suck but even I could come up with a catchier song than your material. Actually, I did. The performance of the only recording I have of that song is very flawed and I won't show it. It was a school music festival, little rehearsing, never been in a band, etc. But damn, we had fun.
