did anyone get the new Prince cd "planet earth" in the Mail on Sunday?
if so,what do think of it?
and..
was it a good idea to release it as a freebie in a national newspaper?
ive got it but i was begrudged to buy the paper for the cd as i dont agree with their political views,so it was through gritted teeth that i handed my £1.70 over for a right wing rag.however the album is pretty good,a lot better than i thought it would be.
I got it, but to be honest there is only about 2 songs I might play again on it.
I quite enjoyed the fact that he gave it away for free and that his record company are up in arms about it. One in the eye for them I imagine.
I wonder if Q+PR would ever do the same with their new album??
Topic starter: why don't you record a video of you burning the paper? That way, you didn't waste the money. Makes for a nice little statement, that does :P

the irony of what you say is not wasted on me. however, the said newspaper is now being crapped on by 4 new born guinea pigs in the bottom of their hutch so it was of some use after all.
Mine is supposed to arrive in the post today or tomorrow, minus the newspaper. Judging from the above posts, that's a good thing, but they still got my money.
Please let it be today.
I thought it was a pleasant listening experience. only track 3 was dodgy and I really like Guitar.
My only point is, if you get into Prince in a few years time, how do you get the album?
