Shawn Drover, the drummer for Megadeth, recently did an interview for Rhythm Magazine naming his top 6 favorite drummers that got him rockin'. Bet you can't guess who makes an appearance... 0=)

hey microwave...i don't like Megadeth that much either....but this thread isn't about Megadeth or how much of a bitch you are with your annoying rant...this thread is about Roger fuckin' Taylor...so if you don't have anything nice to say...please do me and the other polite Queen Friends a favor and shut the fuck up...Thanks!!! =)
here you go azzadude....
"Queen and Rush were my favorite bands as a kid, and although Roger's not know for playing whacky things, he has a signature style which i think is really identifiable on Queen records if you are a drummer. Every time he hits the snare, he's opening the hi-hat slightly just to get that sound that I've never heard anybody else do. He was a really big drummer for me growing up in the 70's for different reasons than Neil Peart or Tommy Aldridge, but he's certainly as important as the other drummers I've mentioned because of his feel and his signature thing. I've seen him twice. Luckily for me, i saw Queen in Montreal in 1982, which was the last time they played in North America. I saw him again when Queen toured with Paul Rodgers a couple of years back."
I lost the thread completely when someone said Megadeth were British?????????? Last I heard they were formed after Dave Mustane quit/was kicked out of Metallica. And they is definitely American
