Is it the music that you dont like? Or the lyrics? or both even? |
Sebastian 13.07.2007 17:12 |
Too repetitive IMO. |

I like Delilah :) It's cute. lol and the guitar is very good. |
Raf 13.07.2007 19:30 |
Not my favorite, but it's great as part of the album. I don't mind the track "alone", but I would never remove it from "Innuendo". |

I like Delilah. I think many people think it's annoying because of all the "meows" and the corny lyrics. But you gotta have fun once in a while, right? |
Griffin 14.07.2007 07:38 |
drum machine...honestly...this song does not compare well to anything Roger Taylor actually plays on-- no, I don't like "Party" either. Some bands do well with drum machines, Queen has a few songs where it's cool in small amounts, "Under Pressure" for example. But for a band with a drummer as accomplished and skilled as Roger, a drum machine seems like a lack of effort. Sure I respect putting 'Delilah' on the album to support Freddie, but to me it's just a track better off as a rare b-side. |

I love that song...it is adorable. Why not sing about a cat there were a part of his l;ife :)The cats gave him pace and joy...as mine did for me :) |

What's wrong with Delilah?... Well.. She lives in New York City.. That's a thousand miles away... But tonight she looks so pretty... Wrong Delilah.;P I love Delilah! Mainly because I love cats. And I love Freddie Mercury. So what's not to love? |
lillian 14.07.2007 21:44 |
^exactly! |
Mr.Jingles 14.07.2007 21:47 |
The only reason why Delilah made into 'Innuendo' is because you can't say "NO" to a person who has a foot on the grave. It's sad but it's true. |
lillian 14.07.2007 21:50 |
Thats a horrible thing to say. |
The Real Wizard 15.07.2007 02:42 |
Sure, but it's true. I'm sure they made many compromises for Freddie's sake. They wanted to create as much music as they could while Freddie was still alive - not argue about it! |
lillian 15.07.2007 02:44 |
i think it was great they did the song.i love queen for the oddest things which make me happy :) |
maxpower 15.07.2007 09:35 |
try this , its a complete pile of shit, in terms of a song put the "freddie was in the last part of his life" emotional blackmail aside, its garbage |
pittrek 15.07.2007 11:08 |
Only good thing on this song is Brian's "Meow". The rest sucks, especially musically |
sparrow 21754 15.07.2007 16:54 |
so um.....what posessed freddie to put meows on there? XD could you imagine the convo? freddie: so guys, lets put some meows on here! brian: well, if we could put up with the opera part in borhap, this could work too! freddie: exactly! |
lillian 15.07.2007 16:55 |

it's a bag of self-indulgent shite |
lillian 15.07.2007 17:08 |
Freddie had the right to sing about his cat.........at least it was not talking about the ugly stuff in the world.give the man a break. |
brENsKi 15.07.2007 17:16 |
lillian wrote: Freddie had the right to sing about his cat.........at least it was not talking about the ugly stuff in the world.give the man a break.rubbish....as a band at the top of their business...their job was to make music that people wanted to hear....this is crap....of the owrst kind... are you saying that freddie also "had the right to sing about his koi carp" john had the right to write "about his driving ban" roger could write/sing about "what debbie does with her Cadbury's flake in bed" and Brian could write and sing about "what it's like shagging an ex-Eastender" what utter bollox....this song does nothing as a piece of music or as a bit of life reflected in art...it's utter complete self-indulgent shite (JUST my opinion) |

nothing's wrong with delilah, it's just not a great song. I confess that the song has grown on me over the year's, it's not nearly as bad as some make it out to be. I'm a animal lover, so I could appreciate a song like this. I personally rather listen to delilah than some other bad songs, more of that jazz is far worse. |
pittrek 16.07.2007 04:54 |

I agree should have been a b-side. |

I love Delilah. Freddie loved his cats and wanted to write a song about one. I don't see anything wrong with it. I think it's adorable. I think Delilah would have loved it. :) |
