I will post this same topic in all the forums where I can post this kind of things..because I guess that this idea can be a begin and It's important that all people know!
I tell you why people mistake on QZ...
So many people everyday put on the most famous forum on QZ (Sharing The Music - Announce) a new boots concert, a new boots dvd..the most part reply in the correct way at the announce to show his thought, and open correctly new topics in the right forum...but others mistakes...and the "experts" get crazy..and here we go with offences, superiority acts etc etc.
Now..with total respect for people who have structured QZ..I tell you the only (for me) defect of this site...not the unkind people (they are in every place) but simply the main page.
Think about people who enter here for the first time...and read "QUEEN MUSIC DOWNLOAD"...they enter on this section..and like good fans try to contact other fans and create new topics (not for share but for ask)...and people get mad again because the topic is in the wrong place...
It's right that people don't accept those facts (especially when are always the same ones who get wrong)....but new queenzoners will keep to mistake..and I tell you why:
The main page of QZ according to me, have to show BETTER (because the voice "talk" and than "notice board" in the bar isn't at all clearly and easy to get!) the different forums and the difference between forums..can't you see?..It's obvious that when new excited fans arrive on QZ they get immediately the most "beauty" way for a QUeen Fan.."QUEEN MUSIC DOWNLOAD"...and not "talk" and than "notice board" hide in the up of the page!
..We must try to change this behavior..not with unkindly acts..but with intelligence..for example changing the main page!
--SORRY FOR MY ENGLISH--

P.S.: Again..I will post this same topic in all the forums where I can post this kind of things..because I guess that this idea can be a begin and It's important that all people know!
This is a simple problem to resolve.
People who browse this (or any other internet site) obviously know how to use a PC - at least at a basic level (or else they could not access these pages).
Every PC user (even first timers) should know how to use folders - or sub folders - or where to search/save for easy access.
This protocol is not used for spite or harassment - but for the ease and convenience of everyone - and especially non-English native speakers.
It helps Queenzone to run smoothly – or else – we would be nothing but a disorganised chaos.
To help protect this easy access, I simply suggest that newbies browse and learn how to use these simple forums first, before rushing headlong into launching numerous (and oft repeated) requests or topics. I also think it is rude to plunder from the 'announce' section - without taking the time to look around the site first.
This is not meant as some sort of criticism, but, if Queenzone were to descend into a free-for-all without structured forums, I believe it would be to the detriment of both the site itself and all its users.
Therefore, I suggest, it is up to the reader to 'fit into' Queenzone - rather than vice-versa, and I really do not believe that is too high a price to pay in exchange for ALL Queenzone has to offer.
Also, posting the same topic in all forums, IMO - is not the best way forward.
Maybe a better way to show newbies around the site is with a stickie on all forums - "Newbies start here."
The original poster is correct in that newbies are excited to find this site and are eager to interact. Some people respond positively and personal conversations lag on, some people respond negatively and fighting ensues. A brief 'how-to' for them in each forum might prevent some of that clutter.
Just my .02.

Both were posted as stickies in the Queen - Serious Discussion forum. link
Not to mention the infamous FAQ...
*edit* link link
If people read those before posting, chances of pissing off "old" users would be a lot smaller.

They don't say in red bold - "NEWBIES LOOK HERE BEFORE POSTING ANYWHERE!!"
I do know what you're saying, and I agree the current headlines should be more than enough. Clearly, they aren't, so I thought a stickie aimed directly at them might help. Though more stickies could simply wind up to be yet more clutter.
<sigh>
I tried.
