According to Brianmay.com, Roger is opening the show along with other drumers.
Anyone knows at wich time is the show set to begin at Wembley?

Ramirez, check link or any news page on the internet.
Ok, thanks! I´ve looked everywher and didn´t find it.
Is Oasis set to play at Wembley or not? I remember reading that they were going to perform but nothing new on the net.

I understand that the concert at Wembley stadium starts at 13:30, but I was wondering if somebody could translate that into eastern time in the United States. Thanks in advance.

Yep. Pity they missed the opportunity to have Brian on stage to do the guitar bit in WWRY.
It's also a shame that Roger didn't have the "Queen" name on his drum kit...
Hoping that Foo Fighters ask roger to guest on their slot.
Just saw it on youtube: link
I loved it that, during the WWRY bit, everybody had their hands in the air, 30 years after... :D
Let's hope somebody shares it with good quality.
Cheers,

I think that was cool for the opening. It must sounded great in the stadium.
Of course, they should have guiven more atention to Roger ; ) but today that´s not the question. I really enjoy tribal sounds.
Is it me or Roger is looking very good compared to the last tour? I really like to see our boys healthy.

Loved the 'We Will Rock You' bit at the end.
I'm sick of hearing that song for 30 years, but I have to say that when they do something different with it, it sounds really cool.
Some day our children will ask us what we did to stop the global warming and we will say: "We watched a rock concert on TV for hours and hours. No idea why it did not help.."
While it might have seemed lengthy on TV, I think that it was probably amazing live. But I personally love drumming. I really liked the way they brought the universal art of drumming together with various types of drums from around the world. I think that it was really an expresion of the fact that this is everybody's problem to solve. I thought it was a unique opener, and it was a good concept, no matter who they had playing on it.
The shame was, three of the best drummers around and they kinda wasted them a bit. You'd have thought they would have got to do a touch more soloing or something, jazz it up a touch, either at the beginning or the end of the whole piece - which was well done anyway, drumming out the SOS morse code pattern.
As a drummer and a Queen/Foo's/Chili's fan, it was a proud moment to see my three favourite drummers open a massive concert watched round the world, but a shame that they weren't used to their potential. But it was about the event, not them as musicians I guess.
At least the Foo's fucking rocked the place. Shame they had to put Madonna on afterwards though, would have been good to let the Mr Grohl close the show.

Thanks for the info! This adds a new dimension to their performance.

Didn't realise this myself until I read it somewhere (on the Foo's message board I think, taken from an interview with Taylor Hawkins the evening before on US TV).
