On Brian's current front-page soapbox, check out the picture of Jack (who is a Make A Wish foundation cancer patient) with Brian, in Brian's living room. Note the following: . Hideous sofa. . Carpet wadded up underneath sofa. Tacky. . Shit piled all over table, topped with Darth Vader helmet. . Pillows don't match couch, under any circumstance, ever. . In the background tables, they too have shit piled all over them. . Carpet doesn't match sofa, or anything else in the room, for that matter. . Though you can't see all of it, the painting on the wall looks pretty ugly, on it's own accord. Ponder, if you will, and feel free to add any tackiness you may find. |

ummm...must this man be perfect in everything he does? GOD!! He is not pefect and nobody is. He doesn't have to be. Not everyone has a clean house all the time, no matter if they're rich or famous or whatever. He's a normal human being and he could decorate his house however the hell he wants to. So maybe he doesn't have such great style, it's house-let him do what he wants. Everyone seems to want to pick on Brian-it doesn't seem fair. I think he's great and everyone should leave him alone with all their comments "he doesn't do this right" "he think he's soo..." It's ridiculous in my opinion. |
mrjordy 30.06.2007 22:25 |
He was having company over! |
QueenTaylor 30.06.2007 22:29 |
so what...that's his choice to have it that way. If he doesn't care, then that's his right!! It's his house!!!! Ok, I don't know what everyone has against him, but if hr does one thing wrong-oh it's such a crime. "Brian may walks the wrong way" "He doesn't dress the right way" "He holds his fork the wrong way" I mean-come on-is it really that big of a deal? It's his right |

This topic was meant to be taken with a little humor. Not entirely serious (but I did raise a few good points - those pillows, Jesus!) |
QueenMercury46 30.06.2007 22:52 |
Where does it say that's his house? |
QueenTaylor 30.06.2007 22:54 |
Look, I know it was, but I'm nt just saying it's you. It's just that everyone seems to be picking on Brian no matter what he does. Believe me, it's not just you, but a lot of people just have something against the man, I don't know, but this is just another thing added to that. |

In the report under "latest news", speaking of the Make A Wish foundation. |

Haha. And at least the "crap on the table" appears to be organized...crap. Those pillows *are* ugly. QueenMercury46 wrote: Where does it say that's his house?...Good point. XD |

I thought the same when I saw that picture of his house. LOL |

We all know that this kid is really the assassin that threatened to kill Brian, and that this was a big ploy to get him to his target. |
Raf 01.07.2007 06:01 |
And didn't anybody notice the guy got an excellent and expensive guitar from Brian May? Am I the only one who's too busy with my envy to notice Brian's house? :-P By the way, I love the Darth Vader helmet. I'd put one in my living room too. I'm not joking. :-P |

LMAO XD I know it's not nice to Brian, but the descriptions are very funny. xD |

I think the rock set call it "faded grandeur"... I will say this though - Brian is in his sixties...it's pretty much how a sixty year old would do up their house. |
Donna13 01.07.2007 15:51 |
And what about all those half empty cans of hair spray in the bathroom and those dirty dishes in the sink? |

I agree J.R.... Looks completely fine to me. I think what is bothering these people is the fact that it is a very "normal" looking place...very "real". Everyone wants to see the glamour of being a famous rock star...and people assume his home would be, well, a castle of sorts with all the showy trappings. Instead you see a typical location where one has lived and worked for some time...and is admist many projects. It is simply a reflection of the rather down to earth personality that resides there in my opinion.... I think it is simply grand in it's own way ....but that is just me perhaps. |

And the fact that nothing in the room seems to match anything else looks just very British to me... |

I believe the original article about the boy's visit stated it was a "dream guitar" he had dreamed of owning for years... It must have been very exciting for the teen....imagine having someone you respect hand you the thing you have dreamed most of life about. Damn amazing and meaningful methinks..... |

Deacons 1st Choice wrote: I believe the original article about the boy's visit stated it was a "dream guitar" he had dreamed of owning for years.....That guitar has only been out for 4 years. The Epiphone model is about a $500 guitar and sounds like it. The Custom Shop is a nice Maple (front) and Mahogany (back) solid with EMG pickups. Quite a nice bite, indeed. Four grand. They also offer the CS in an aged wood version for nearly twice that!!! But again, this is a recent issue, not a 'dream guitar'. Maybe the boy dreamed of owning a vintage Les Paul. This is NOT that. I'm just curious. |
