Hello,
At the request of some Queenzoner's, we have started this Collector's forum. I hope you enjoy it.
This forum is for the serious collectors and hoax offers and off topic posts will be removed.
Thanks,
Richard
Nice one.
I give it a week before someone thinks "which album is Bohemian Rhapsody on?" constitutes an appropriate level of enquiry.
Which by no means suggests I think this is a bad idea.
Will there be a collection of collectors? I am interested in collecting Penetration Guru, Sir GH, and YourValentine. I'm still considering Mr. Scully. Does he come in various sizes?
hi i was hoping some of you could help me, i'm trying to get Queen things for my boyfriend as gift, but i don't really know anything about Queen. I am interested in getting him cd's and Lp's things like that and i was wondering if someone could give me some pointers on what would be good albums to look for and some rare items that are good. Thanks so much!!!!
Be very careful - you'll need to know EXACTLY what he has already, so you may be better off either asking him what Queen stuff he's looking for, or giving him a £10 Virgin voucher (which I was disappointed to receive when it turned out to be a record token)
I have a copy of the Bicycle Race/Fat Bottomed Girls which has Queen on one side but Crystal Gayle singing Talking in your Sleep Mispressed on the other, just wondering how rare this is.
hello
can someone help me, im trying to find a copy of the queen + annie crummer cd single another one bites the dust from 2003. Does anyone have any ideas where i can find a copy
Hi there, I have reluctantly made the decision to sell my Queen rareities but as I never invisiged my having to sell them I have no real idea of there worth, I thought I would start with just a few things to start, I have the Brian May sixpence I bought at the show in Liverpool, the Hammer to fall live cover 12", this is genuine by the way, I bought it myself from WH Smiths back in 1984, the Japanese mini CD boxset, coded TODP 2251 62 and Rpger Taylors Happiness Album numbered 1058. All are in good or mint condition. I don't wish to break any rules here so I just need advice on what I should be looking for price wise on sites such as E-bay, I have much more to sell but this is just a start.
Hi
I have a good selection of records, picture disc, box sets, t-shirts, fan club mags, pictures etc - if anyone is interested drop me a line leannagoring@hotmail.com x
I have a Vinyl signed by Freddie Mercury that I paid a pretty penny for, and it came with a COA from the UK. However, I would still like to verify its authenticity.
It is definitely a real vinyl, and it is a definitely a real signature as in it's not a stamp or reproduction. It looks real, but I guess I would just like some more verification before I frame it and hang it up. Ideas?
Okay, I dont know if this is in the right section, but here goes anyway, I will display this message in the collecting forum as well.....
All the concerts that are available for Queen vary in their quality. Some outright stink, but are a great night, its just not audible. The earliest unofficial recording on here is the Golders Green Concert from 1973...it is such a shame that the original was recorded the way it was, as it was a great night and lasted alot longer than the bootleg shows. The bootleg is probably one of the finer bootlegs in terms of legality as it was released on a bootleg label, as opposed to the trading circle- and by the way thanx folks for doing a fantastic job of capturing the unavailable shows....Some very fine recordings indeed.....and some of you are very good at mixing and mastering right turds into audible turds.....Which brings me back to the 1973 concert....sadly the full length is gone as the edited one is the only remaining survivor from that time period (unless a recording surfaces), so here for the first person to email me, I will send them the best version they have ever heard of this.....If you think Im full of it, then ask davesomebodyorother, as he shared a recording of mine involving Freddie and a certain celeb who has been in the limelight recently...Once I hand the recording over for others to share - which likely to be within hours - I will sadly confirm to the rest and leave it up to the lucky one to share at his discretion.....The recording has had the altered beginning by someone here, as the original did not contain it, and I wanted the most complete version, so thank you Pittrek for your add...pestgrid@aol.com....bye bye
