Hi all,
I am looking for the rarer unreleased tracks and demos, specially:
Face It Alone; Assassin; Friends In Pain and Sandbox.
Plus some of the harder to come by demos.
For these I have a number of rare and unique items to trade:
Hammer To Fall 7” Signed by Brian. Originally in Brian’s personal collection this was bought from the fan club, and comes with a certificate of authenticity.
You Don’t Fool Me orange vinyl promo. Only 350 ever made and containing a unique mix, the Queen Forever Megamix.
Excerpts from the Work promo flexi disc containing unique edits of Radio Ga Ga; It’s A Hard Life; I Want to Break Free and Hammer to Fall.
Get Down; double LP bootleg of Osaka 24/10/82. Interesting because the band start playing Spread You Wings, but the song breaks down when Freddie forgets the words, they go in to Saturday Night.
Please email me at cllrcraig@googlemail.com if you are interested.
Thanks.
Greg Brooks played FIA on the Dutch convention last year and although I was thrilled to hear it and although I am ALWAYS thrilled to hear something previously unheard I would recommend:
Keep your genuine items (or your 1000 $, Crzechy) because no demo or unreleased outtake is worth it.
Ask yourself - how often do you actually listen to songs like "Yellow Breeze"? These unreleased tracks were dismissed by the band for a reason: they were substandard.
If Queen were still a working band and would release a new album each year or each second year, we would not be so desperate. But let us not forget: songs that are out there will see the light of day sooner or later. No need to get all wound up about them. If you give a genuine item for an unleaked demo - it may as well be published next month and everybody can download it. Not a real good deal, right?
I never heard assassin or sand box or any other mythical unreleased takes but I can wait. I own the Beatles anthology and I remember how long (short!!) it lasted until I was fed up with all these unfinished dismissed takes.
It's better to be relaxed and watch the QZ website .. sooner or later something unexpected will turn up. It happened before and it will happen again.

I have to say I agree fully. I mean, is a single song (that you may listen to once and dislike) really worth alot of money, or something like what you offer. A low numbered album or an auto of Brian, there is no way they can compare.
