I'll temporarily come out of reclusion for this! I want to thank Pieter for putting so much hard work into all of this -- he's done a tremendous job with getting everything looking just right. Also, the other contributors -- Erin, P_G, and Sir Didymus -- really helped shape and form the site into something coherent and worthwhile. Kudos and kudos again to everyone, and I have high hopes for this site to turn into something truly amazing, to be the one-stop Queen resource. (Now, if you'll excuse me, I must get back to being a recluse. It's hard work!) |

Awesome work, and massive props to all involved. Could end up making all other Queen sites redundant. And why are you Maz now Zeni? I wanted to buy a duck. |
Maz 12.06.2007 13:46 |
Zeni became a real person in the form of a 7 pound little girl born a few weeks back. Didn't think she'd want me using her name in vain. But ducks are still available, both rubber and real. |

Can I claim about 1% of the credit for the content...the work that the others have put in over the last few weeks has been genuinely astounding, while all I've done is get picky on typos and details (see how consitent I am?). What I would like to add is that my understanding of the intent behind this is to allow anybody and everybody to contribute like wikipedia, but with all entries vetted via the email box. So please, tell them about everything... |

Wow is all I can say. It looks fabulous. I haven't had time to go through the whole site but I looked at the "who's who" and didn't see a section for roadies or anything like that. Do you all have any plans to add any sort of thing like that? A job very well done and I'm not surprised at all with the calibur that is involved. Even though Pieter wears a kilt, sometimes he amazes me. ;) |

Excellent. My favorite part right now is Queen at the BBC. It reads like a fan's dream "box set." I can see DVDs of their ToTP videos, the Hippodrome, and Hammersmith Odeon shows, with "special features" like select appearances by whole band/band members on interview programmes (just finished watching some Doctor Who-related Swap Shop extras, would be intriguing to see Deaky on that.) And then of course the remastered sessions (even those that are supposedly just album re-treads) on CD. Keep up the good work! |

The piano is only shakey in the beginning. How would you explain that if it was an electric piano, that it is exactly the same performance. Compare all the accent and stuff, you can't play something exactly the same |
FriedChicken 13.06.2007 15:07 |
PG, listen to the backing vocals in the first verse. and the lead vocal on 'can't you seeeeee' On See you can hear the shakey sound in the vocal very well. And in the outro on Nevermore nevermore. |
