Heaven For Everyone (sung by Roger): I think it's even better than the MIH version. As an album, Shove It is the crappiest Queen-related record ever, IMO.
I kinda like the latter Cross albums, though. Maybe even better than some of the Queen albums in the 80's.

a shame that a little 2 or 3 box set with these, and Roger solos, has never been made available.
We've got 'em all....but many don't. Sigh.
Start your flamethrowers up guys...
Personally, I don't like The Cross. Not one song. I don't think it's the songwriting as much as the style and expression.
I'm totally with you Microwave.
I'm utterly amazed at how many people here are so ready and willing to offer up multiple songs as their favourite Cross tracks.
I don't think I've listened to any of their albums since the days I bought them, probably over 10 years ago.
Utter embarrassing tripe.

I do understand what you mean -some of their tracks, although rather good, just make me feel uneasy, for no reason I can explain.
My favourites are:
- HFE (Roger only);
- The Also Rans (genius);
- New Dark Ages (genius);
And I really love the general feel of Final Destination, and that delightful line, "ski right off the bridge of your pretty nose"...

You skewered those who had a disparaging opinion in regards to 'Hot Space' and 'Body Language' on a current thread, because those in disagreement are not Stepfords, and offered their often well-educated opinions that differed from yours.
So, how can you criticize Roger and The Cross for allowing him to play on stage and record some music when Queen could no longer tour?
What gives you the right? Where can I find YOUR music in stores?
I would add that I am not a fan of many Cross tunes. Then again, I have not made or produced any music, therefore, I guess I cannot comment or provide an opinion as to their music.
I think you need to stay away from some of those kitchen spices......
