Hello all,
Last week my grandparents came home and gave me a real supprise, because they had bought me and my mum tickets to the QueenA Kind of Magic tribute concert. I went on the web site, and it looks great, apparently Brian said that it was one of the best tibute performances he's seen, and Freddies personal assistant (apoligies for not remembering his name) is involved in the show.
If anybody's seen the show, could you tell me what it's like?
Thanks,
M.H
I once saw a tribute show with a band called MerCury. The singer Johnny Tzlatylni, a canadian/slovakian(or something), had been woted the best Freddie Mercury impersonator a couple of years before. Mr. Peter Freestone, Freddie´s assistant was involed in the show, talking about Freddie and so...Oh, and they stayed on the hotel that i worked on so I got to meet them upclose. And did some karaoke with Johnny after the show....And if that is the show you´re going to. Congratulations, it´s great.

I assume the show you're going to is on Oz? (that's where they seem to be touring currently)
There has been a thread bout those guys recetly, see: link
My review is in there :-)
Yes, I'm seeing them in the Burswood Dome, Perth, Western Australia in a few weeks time. The reviews sound pretty good, and the way people commented on the guitarist not being able to play Brians stuff very well doesn't suprise me, he is after all a brilliant guitarist, but I'm pleased to hear that the lead singer performs Freddie well.
Thanks very much!
