I think his backup instruments went in this order, fist he used strat, then les paul, then birch, then guilds, then fryers, now guytons.

There are pictures of Brian with the Gibson Flying V in Oakland 82. Also, he most likely played it in East Rutherford 82 (during Body Language), as he broke a string on both his Red Special and the John Birch copy during his Brighton Rock solo.

That is not true, Brian used the Guild's from the beginning of 'The Works' tour. He can be seen using a prototype at the Golden Rose festival and can also be seen with a production model at Rock in Rio during Now Im Here.
