Ok i reply to this post , but its a general reply to all trader bashing rapidshare downloaders newbies and whoever else> WITHOUT traders (in other terms: hard core collectors and fans) you would have nothing to download. NOTHING. No 200+ concerts, no gigabytes of flacs and mp3s and unreleased demos and countless hours of rare video from Houston to Earls Court or that ominous FACE IT ALONE. Try to understand it. If there is no one to collect it for you, you wouldnt be able to download it. You are a fan for two years? And you still cant download everything you want? You have to WAIT for it a few months? My god. I pity you. I am still patiently waiting for stuff after being a collector for 21 years. 1500+ persons attended the annual conventions, still only 1 or 2 recorded the audios there. The rest were busy chatting througout the unreleased songs or whatever... Stop bashing those who put time/ energy/money into collecting stuff that you guys -who are only able to click and download - sooner or later will undoubtly get.

It's no coincidence that the people who disagree with the above aren't collectors. Pointing and clicking is not collecting. Collecting is when you've actively searched for something for years, and you finally hear it for the first time - something that only a few people have heard before you. In this day and age of pointing and clicking, it seems that the majority of downloaders tend to think that the only things in existence are things that are available for free download. Go ahead and bash me, but the post I quoted is 100% correct. If a certain dozen or so Queen collectors stopped getting new material, then the sharing of new material here would come to a grinding halt. Also, look at it this way: If it wasn't for collectors, people here would still be talking about how nice it would be to hear Flick Of The Wrist and White Man performed live one day when Queen officially released them, and Greg Brooks would be the only source of finding out which shows those songs were played at. Anyone shuddering yet? :)

Not that I'm looking for any recognition, but I think I should point out that you clearly must be new around here, because you haven't seen how much I've shared. Needless to say, if you're not a collector, then you really don't have a clue what's going on behind the scenes. Instead of bashing people you know nothing about, how about asking a couple friendly questions so you can learn about the way things work?

For me is collecting its real records (masters) not some shity sound files.... & shity mp3s or other sound files should be free. Such a same people pay money for it & feed bloodsuckers. LOW level traders i call them. Well well thats life i suppose. =) GREED.

About 8-10 years ago i did collect real records & Soundfiles AND had access to the latest in the QueenWorld.. we allways shared it to all who asked for something. NO its was not here at QZ cos i cant remember QZ had a sharing board then.. Well something had changed badly in the Queenworld thats for sure. I miss The old IRC groups #Queen #FreddieMercury that was LOVE !

It's not Nazism. It's very simple. You're offered something, and you give them something of equal collectible value in return. Some things leak after a while, and some don't. But once they've leaked, they no longer have collectible value. So, if you share your rare stuff, what will you give someone when you're offered something rare?

well....I understand.... but if everything was shared...you wouldn't need to keep your rarities to give them in return of other rarities... do you know what I mean?? if all the rarities are shared...nothing remains to be given in return....because there will be no more stuff to be offered.. it's more simple than the current system...isn't it?? unless you don't like to hear people saying 'thank you for this song' ecc...and you want to comment those rarities just with your dog....and not with a community of big fans... it's up to you...my dear..!!

That's because those of us who talk about sharing are unable to GET any rarities. All we can access are the leaked MP3s and FLACs, and of course, once leaked they do not have any value. We can't get any "rarities" because we don't have any rare items to trade from them with.

The collectors have their hands tied with restrictions. If I give away a demo, I will never get any other demo anymore. Nobody - and I mean NOBODY - of you would behave in a different way than I do.
