Some official releases (CD, 7" or 12" singles) from time to time included one or two live tracks, probably meant as a promotion of a tour or promotion of a forthcoming live album. The following list was compiled with help from Leo'82 B.R. and may not be complete because it hasn't been updated since 2010 or so... :-)

  • Love Of My Life (live) / Now I'm Here (live) - released on a 7" single in the UK, Japan, Germany and Spain in 1979. The tracks are from Live Killers.
  • We Will Rock You (live) / Let Me Entertain You (live) - released on a 7" single in USA and Japan in 1979. Tracks are again from Live Killers.
  • Crazy Little Thing Called Love / We Will Rock You (live) - released on a 7" single in the UK, France, Germany and Sweden in 1979. WWRY is from Live Killers.
  • Crazy Little Thing Called Love / Spread Your Wings (live) - released on a 7" single in USA (1979) and Japan (1980). SYW is from Live Killers.
  • Save Me / Let Me Entertain You (live) - released on a 7" single in the UK, France and Sweden in 1980. LMEY is from Live Killers.
  • Save Me / Sheer Heart Attack (live) - released on a 7" single in Japan and Australia in 1980. SHA is from Live Killers.
  • Hammer To Fall (live) - released on a 7" single and 12" single in the USA to promote the release of the Live In Rio video (that's where the track comes from).
  • Under Pressure (live) / We Will Rock You (live) / Friends Will Be Friends (live) / We Are The Champions (live) - given away as promo only, not actually released anywhere. The live tracks are from Live Magic.
  • The Miracle / Stone Cold Crazy (live) - released on a 7" single (UK, Australia), and cassette single (UK) in 1989. SCC comes from Rainbow 1974.
  • The Miracle / Stone Cold Crazy (live) / My Melancholy Blues (live) - released on a 12" single in the UK and on a CD single in the UK and Austria in 1989. SCC is from Rainbow 1974, My Melancholy Blues from Houston 1977.
  • We Will Rock You (live) / We Are The Champions (live) / We Will Rock You / We Are The Champions - released on a 7" single in Germany and on a CD single in The Netherlands and France. The live tracks are from Wembley 1986.
  • We Are The Champions (live) / We Will Rock You (live) - released on a CD single in France and Spain. Also on a 7" single in France (WWRY / WATC). The tracks are from Wembley 1986.
  • Five Live - EP released after the FM Tribute concert. Includes Somebody To Love (Queen + George Michael) and These Are The Days Of Our Lives (Queen + George Michael + Lisa Stansfield), both tracks come of course from the Tribute concert. This EP was released in many forms, apparently the casette single features Love Of My Life (live in Rio) on the B side.
  • A Winter's Tale / Thank God It's Christmas / Rock In Rio Blues (live) - released on a CD single in the UK. Rock In Rio Blues is from Rock In Rio.
  • Too Much Love Will Kill You / Rock In Rio Blues (live) - released on a CD single in the USA. Rock In Rio Blues is from Rock In Rio.
  • Under Pressure (Rah mix / Mike Spencer mix / Knebworth mix) - released in the UK in 1999. The Knebworth version is of course from the very last Queen concert.
  • Reaching Out (live) / Tie Your Mother Down (live) / Fat Bottomed Girls (live) - released in several European countries in 2005. The tracks come from the Sheffield concert which was also released officially in its entirety on 2CD and DVD (Return Of The Champions).

Brian May

  • Resurrection EP - released in Japan in 1993. Includes live versions of Too Much Love Will Kill You, Back To The Light and Tie Your Mother Down.
  • Resurrection / Love Token / Too Much Love Will Kill You (live) - released on a casette single, 12" single and a CD single (part 1) in the UK in 1994.
  • Resurrection / Driven By You Two / Back To The Light (live) / Tie Your Mother Down - released on a CD single (part 2) in the UK in 1994. The live tracks are from Jay Leno's Tonight show (5.4.1993).
  • Too Much Love Will Kill You (album version / live version / instrumental) - released on a promo CD single in the USA in 1994.
  • Last Horizon / '39 (live) / Let Your Heart Rule Your Head (live) - released on a 7" single, casette single and CD single in the UK in 1994. The live tracks are from Brixton Academy.
  • Last Horizon (radio edit) / Last Horizon (live) / We Will Rock You (live) / Last Horizon (album version) - released on a CD single in the UK in 1994. Again, the live tracks are from Brixton (WWRY is the unedited version like on the VHS tape).
  • We Will Rock You (live) - released on a CD single in France (the live track is from Brixton).
  • Red Special - Japanese Tour Mini Album - includes On My Way Up and Hammer To Fall (both live from Paris 9.6.1998).

Roger Taylor

  • Happiness? / Ride The Wild Wind (live) - released as a 7" single in the UK in 1994 (green vinyl, limited edition of 10000). RTWW was recorded in London on 15.9.1994.
  • Happiness? / Dear Mr. Murdoch / Everybody Hurts Sometime (live) / Old Friends (live) - released as a 12" single in the UK in 1994 (picture disc, limited edition of 10000). Live tracks are again from 15.9.1994.
  • Happiness? / Loneliness / Dear Mr. Murdoch / I Want To Break Free (live) - released as a CD single in the UK in 1994. IWTBF is from 15.9.1994.
  • Surrender (live from Cyberbarn) / No More Fun (live from Cyberbarn) / Tonight (live from Cyberbarn) - released as a CD single in the UK in 1999.

The Cross

  • Final Destination / Penetration Guru / Man On Fire (live) - released as a CD single and a 12" single in Germany in 1990. It is not known where this version of Man On Fire was recorded.
  • New Dark Ages / Ain't Put Nothin' Down / Man On Fire (live) - released as a CD single and a 12" single in Germany in 1991. Same version of Man On Fire as on the previous release except that this time it misses the spoken intro by Roger ("Alright, thank you... Sometimes I feel like a man on fire!")
