Brian May revealed Roger was 'banned' from Birmingham this time. The pair helped create a glittering finale to the musical at the Hippodrome in 2009 but they collided. "That drum kit ploughed into me," joked Brian. "I'm amazed it didn't kill me. Roger's banned this time."

The concert was part of the Starmus Festival which celebrated 50
years of space exploration. The 'Star Sounds' piece was a new composition by
Edgar Froese and contained sounds harnessed from the natural vibrations of
stars. The first two tracks were played before the actual Tangerine Dream set
while the other three were part of the encore. The concert will be released on
CD and DVD.

Brian visited the West Lea facility in Enfield to present teachers with a new, specially adapted minibus. Upon arrival, Brian and Anita were greeted with rapturous applause and a performance from the Kaos Choir, a combined group of singers from West Lea and neighbouring Hazelbury Infant School. Brian then signed a guitar, which the school will auction to raise money, before using it to play along with the choir as they sang again. Dail Express reports: "He played We Will Rock You and had all the kids clapping and stamping their feet. He even played a few numbers with the school choir."
