Brian's words: "In the afternoon, I just strolled on and played the solo, like the chaps normally do, because there was no time to rehearse with the cast. But in the evening we risked me being on there in the headbanging section too... it was risky because we still hadn't managed to make the radio link work, so I had a physical lead on the guitar. This was the first time I've done an appearance without coming up in smoke in the trap."
Brian and Roger performed this song on the satellite (acoustic) stage. Brian sang the first verse and chorus (Taylor Hawkins sang the second verse), Roger played tambourine and occasionally hit a cymbal and of course, the rest of Foo Fighters played in the song too (Dave Grohl, Jessy Greene, Nate Mendel, Rami Jaffee and one guy I didn't recognize). They sang the song in its entirety (just like on ANATO)
Soloists in order of appearance: Yvan Pedneault, Erica Peck, Alana Bridgewater, Sterling Jarvis, Suzie McNeil, Evan Buliung. The Canadian Idol Top 7 finalists: Jaydee Bixby, Dwight D'eon, Carly Rae Jepsen, Brian Melo, Greg Neufeld, Tara Oram, Matt Rapley.
02. The Show Must Go On (Brian on guitar, Roger on drums, 7 Canadian Idol finalists on vocals)
Fifth anniversary of the We Will Rock You musical in Dominion. The evening performance was only for fans, not for general public. Brian May in his white frock coat appeared for the guitar solo in BoRhap and Roger joined him for the rock finale. After Brian's and Ben Elton's speech The Show Must Go On followed (with the cast leads taking a verse each).
02. The Show Must Go On (Brian on guitar, Roger on drums, WWRY cast on vocals)
At the end of the show, the WWRY cast sang WWRY before a curtain was dropped to show Roger Taylor and Brian May at the other side of the stage. After the guitar solo a brief bit of Tear It Up followed and the show ended with WWRY again, with Al Murray joining in. After the credits it showed Al Murray in bed, waking up saying he had a dream of singing with Queen. The camera panned out to show Brian and Roger in bed with him.
