Was only 15 at the time, travelling on my own from Dublin - flight got routed to manchester and had to bum a lift. Saved like mad to go booked by post when the tour was announced in the NME/Sounds - then they added another date for the previous day. Great show for me 3 or 4 rows to the stage on Brian's side - rememeber getting scared at the start of Ogre Battle. Thought the place was shaking and being totally in awe at the length of Brian's curly lead. Watching the Christmas show from the Hammersmith Odeon brings it all back but it couldn't replace actually being there - still have the photos I took that night - they were great days - great memories.
