I saw all the great bands play here. Could not wait to see Queen. But.... one of the band members were sick, so they never played. Kansas played one song and was booded off the stage. They never returned and that was the concert.
I've kept all my concert tickets over the last 45 years but can't find the Queen ticket.

I happened on your site looking for the Queen concert from 1975. Someone posted a memory of Queen not performing, but that's not true. Kansas was given a hard time, but not booed offstage that I can remember. Queen played and were stunning. That's my memory. I do remember it being winter, snowy and cold. It was a fabulous show.

Was at this show possibly best concert I ever saw. Incredible. Lead off song is Now I'm Here in same fashion as live in 1974 at the Rainbow. Dark and light flashes on Freddy and he looks like Christ. Mind blowing raw performance hitting Detroit.

"Gary" must have had some heavy drugs that night! That's not how it went down at all!! Kansas came out and played their full set. There were no boo's that I recall whatsoever, and played a great set. Sure everyone was looking forward to Queen but Kansas warmed up the crowd nicely. Queen themselves were in full force and it was an amazing concert in a great venue!!! Will never forget it!
