Queen Groenoordhal Leiden Holland 20-09-1984 This is a 1st generation copy of the master cassette and I dont think it has been shared here before. The good news is that the sound is very good+. The Bad news is that the concert is incomplete. For some obvious reasons the bootleger only taped the second part of the show...what a shame!! I have also the first part, but in a bad quality, so hopefully someone can provide the first part of the show in good quality to complete the concert??? The rarity of this concert is that Queen played an impromptu of '39... and as you can hear the dutch crowd went crazy!! Enjoy The Show!! Tracklist: Is This The World We Created? '39 Love Of My Life Stone Cold Crazy Great King Rat Keyboard Solo Brighton Rock Another On Bites The Dust Hammer To Fall Crazy Little Thing Called Love Bohemian Rhapsody Radio Ga Ga I Want To Break Free Jailhouse Rock We Will Rock You We Are The Champions God Save The Queen link link link link |

Thanks for this. |

Amazing! This is the new uncirculated source. Thanks a million for sharing this! I have a second generation recording from the common source, so I will eventually share the first half of the show to make this one complete. |
Nordico 27.01.2007 15:57 |
If you can do it than you are the man!!! I am searching for ages for a good quality copy of the first part!! |

Sir Bob, i can't download link 5 from Liverpool 75... can you repost it please? |

Maruga wrote: Sir Bob, i can't download link 5 from Liverpool 75... can you repost it please? It says that there´s no server with that data on right now. I think it´s because of traffic, because if it´s not then i suggest to you download the files in the day they are uploaded, because there are links from other concerts with this message after two days. Thanks for the uploader. Take care |

Wow! An uncirculating source from a show from The Netherlands! Great stuff! Did you visit the actual concert? Do you know the taper? Please drop me a line (mrducksoup@hotmail.com) maybe we can do a trade in the future! I'm always interested in low gen/ mastercopy recordings! Thanks a lot for sharing it here! |

Btw... the lineage of this one should simply read: Master > WAV > CDR (x) > FLAC I already had a sample from the master clone, and it perfectly matches what has been shared here. Excellent stuff. |
little foetus 28.01.2007 04:34 |
So it is not from a first gen as stated in the announce, it is from the master? |
tilomagnet 28.01.2007 05:53 |
little foetus wrote: So it is not from a first gen as stated in the announce, it is from the master?I guess that's a mislabelling, caused by the use of the common Queen traders' pseudo-lineage system. So yes, '1st gen copy' of a Queen show is what the rest of the world labels as 'Master > CDR'. |

What a nice clear recording, really great! Thank you for sharing this! |
The Real Wizard 28.01.2007 09:06 |
This really is an awesome show. The audience sings most of the songs along with the band, and Freddie sings very powerfully throughout! The audience is clearly propelling the band, and they turn in a much stronger than average performance. Gotta love this version of Hammer To Fall, if only to hear Roger's voice crack on two of the three "oh no"s! |
TheGame 28.01.2007 10:03 |
WOW, so many nice shares here lately. Hope to contribute with something soon. Anyway, as my speakers are crap, i cant compare this version against the remastered master i've had for some time. Could someone give me feedback on this? link |
Nordico 28.01.2007 10:44 |
Your version of Radio Ga Ga is from the same source. |
TheGame 28.01.2007 10:53 |
Nordico wrote: Your version of Radio Ga Ga is from the same source.Well, i know that....but its not the same version! This is remastered, but i dont have speakers to compare them at the moment! |

"Remastered" is such a vague term. Can you be specific about what has been done to the recording? |

Sir GH

ah yeah
wrote: "Remastered" is such a vague term. Can you be specific about what has been done to the recording?I'm not too sure since its not me that did the remastering. From the notes, i think *Volume have been adjusted,so it doesnt sound so distorted *Bass added *Some treble removed, since it was too much on the original tape. |

TheGame wrote:I listened to your sample, and I actually think it sounds worse. They removed too much treble. I think it was just fine as it was. And for the record, you can't remove distortion by adjusting the volume. If it's there, then it's there for good (err, bad... haha!).Sir GH

ah yeah
wrote: "Remastered" is such a vague term. Thank you! But: I get an error message with part 2, it says "file not found". All the others worked fine. Does someone have an idea how to solve this? |
Penetration_Guru 06.02.2007 14:51 |
Re-upload it is my best suggestion, as I'm getting the same problem and every other part has come through fine. |
