Dan C. 05.12.2006 09:49 |
Really?! Will we be seeing this interview anytime soon? Love the site, by the way. :) |

Great news Thomas! Where or when will the interview be printed? Cheers, Dennis |

Hello Wegotit, Is it possible for you to give us more details? Please. |
Daz85 05.12.2006 17:11 |
Crikey... a few weeks ago Brian wasn't sure they'd just be releasing a few tracks, or a full blown album... now its possibly a DOUBLE album lol! Can't wait until the Q+PR machine starts rolling again. |
Arnaldo "Ogre-" Silveira 05.12.2006 17:23 |
Wow, Thomas! These are great news!!! Cheers, Ogre- |
akindofmagic 05.12.2006 19:44 |
Well, obviously Roger and Brian had songs they wrote(some together, some on their own) over the last 8 years.Paul have some songs because he is always writing stuff. And the jam sessions last 2 months were very productive. There's no reason for them to not include all the good songs. This will be(if happens) the first Queen studio double album!! edit: just realise that Thomas, on his great website says that Brian assure him that Queen+PR WILL tour in 2007!!! |
akindofmagic 05.12.2006 20:32 |
Just to say that if this become true, i expect 20 tracks(not too much for a double album). If PR write alone 5 tracks, thn we have 15 songs (co-)written by Roger or/and Brian (that including Roger own songs, Brian own songs, Roger/Brian partnership songs, Brian/PR songs, Roger/PR songs and Bri/Rog/PR songs). 15 Tracks from our idols it's pretty good. More than a conventional album! |
Knute 05.12.2006 23:04 |
Awesome news Thomas! I can't wait to read the interview. And to me it's not about the labels. It's about the melody, harmony and rhythm. I want new music from these three legendary musicians and plenty of it. Bring it on boys. |
star 05.12.2006 23:33 |
This is not a Queen Album, this is a Brian, Roger And Paul Rodgers Album. it's better to say this. |
Phill the Thrill 05.12.2006 23:46 |
oh give it up already, its still a queen album, even if it is Queen + i cant wait for anything, at all, but a double album...is freaking phenominal news, i hope it pans out |
L-R-TIGER1994 06.12.2006 00:23 |
Live at Wembley '86 it's a double album. |
mrjordy 06.12.2006 00:26 |
Great news, Thomas. Was also excited to see that Brian confirmed to you that Queen+ will be touring in 2007. Just as I'd hoped. I can't wait to see the boys live again. The Duluth, GA show kicked every ass in the house! Don't let the thread "Queen RIP" hijackers spoil the fun, kids. God save Queen + Paul Rodgers! |
akindofmagic 06.12.2006 00:42 |
L-R-TIGER1994 wrote: Live at Wembley '86 it's a double album.Yep. That's why i said that This will be the first Queen STUDIO album. My "live at Wembley", funnily, is really "live", not a studio album. Yours must be a raritie! |
teleman 06.12.2006 01:23 |
RIP Queen LOL I look forward to the possibility that this will be good music. God bless Queen + Paul Rodgers |
Jjeroen 06.12.2006 03:09 |
Album and tour, once more confirmed! See, I told you! ;-) Thanks for letting us know Thomas. Would love to hear or read the full item. Keep up the good work! |
August R. 06.12.2006 05:07 |
This is great news!! Thanks Thomas! But a double album? huh! I know it's been ages since Roger or Brian released anything, so they definately had the time on their side. But still, a double album means a LOT of new stuff. Somehow, I can't help thinking that the second disc is just re-worked studio versions of old numbers (e.g. slow Hammer To Fall, fast WWRY, some acoustic versions, maybe). Anyway, this is just me speculating... I'm dying to hear more details about this interview. |
Jjeroen 06.12.2006 05:33 |
... 46664 tracks... ? |
death to ming! 06.12.2006 06:35 |
^^^^ They'd need a huge box set to fit that many in. Ba-doom. |
Jjeroen 06.12.2006 07:50 |
LOL! *fa-faa*! ;-))) |
icefire 06.12.2006 08:41 |
why don't they come to the BALTIC STATES lol..i wish they came close to Lithuania. Maybe Poland :) if they do my dreams will come true. |

Maz 06.12.2006 16:09 |
Doesn't Roger have an active sense of hyperbole? I don't expect a double album at all, especially if Brian's perfectionist tendencies come out. I have no doubt that with three accomplished songwriters they have plenty of material for a 2 CD set, but I don't see Brian going for it at this point. More than likely, Roger's just teasing us with how much material they have. I do, however, buy into the 2007 tour idea, particularly because both Brian and Roger have hinted at this happening over the past few months. |
Nathan 06.12.2006 16:10 |
A double album would be twice the fun. |
Arnaldo "Ogre-" Silveira 06.12.2006 16:20 |
I would die for a double CD like this: CD 1 - Queen Made-in-Heaven-like takes; Unrealeased stuff from the Freddie Era; 46664 tracks; New material by Brian and Roger. CD2 - Queen+Paul Rodgers Queen+PR, what else? :) Again, that's just me daydreaming again. ;) Cheers, Ogre- |
stateside fan 06.12.2006 20:35 |
i enjoy the Wegotic web site but if you take a look at some of the statements/predictions that were made in the beginning of the tours most of the"rumors" turned out to be way off.the chances of them cramming a double record in this short window are very slim.this is something queen in their heyday never did.call me nuts but there is no shot of a double album. |
akindofmagic 06.12.2006 20:48 |
Hey Thomas, when will you develop this new? Can you say more about this?even before you post the whole interview on your site? |
Hitman 07.12.2006 07:25 |
uhm it could be just a normal cd with new songs and new recordings of old songs. reaching out, 46664... but we will see.. |
Dan C. 07.12.2006 12:39 |
I really hope the 46664 tracks are on it... |
jeffuk49 07.12.2006 14:24 |
could be 20 remixes of wwry |
AlexRocks 07.12.2006 16:31 |
I think that a double album should be done but only after this next release which I think should remain a single disc release. I think the extra stuff should be for the vaults and for the next release after this one which should then be a double c.d. set. |
August R. 08.12.2006 05:40 |
There seems to be a lot of contradictory reports. About a month ago Brian was talking about just few tracks and wasn't sure if these sessions would evolve into an album. Now all of a sudden it's a double album. Things must be going very well in the studio... Well, all we can do is wait... and speculate :) |
FriedChicken 08.12.2006 07:56 |
Maybe Roger meant that they had so much ideas it could be a double album. But I guess that is the case in 90% of the albums they did. |
The Stealer 08.12.2006 08:07 |
I believe it when I see it. Roger may have been joking around a bit about that bit. Tour news is may have some validity...hoping any tour makes it to the states for a few shows. |
akindofmagic 08.12.2006 10:16 |
All we can do is wait for Thomas/Wegotit.. why is he taking so long to put the interview? Thomas, tell us something! Will you put the interview or not? and When?tell us something! |
akindofmagic 11.12.2006 16:00 |
Is there really an "interview" with Roger and Brian or just gossip by Thomas? or maybe the two guys running out of Zurich Theatre and Thomas shouting«hey guys, will you put out a new album», and Roger ironicly, «Yeah.... a double one!!!» Maybe this is what Thomas call as an "interview"! |
Deacons 1st Choice 11.12.2006 22:26 |
Also keep in mind that all this talk about a "double album" may not directly relate or mean the much anticipated Q+PR album they have been working on. It could simply mean a compilation, a Live album cut from material recorded from the 06' shows...or who knows what! Not trying to be a killjoy or anything ( i am as pleased with the news as the next fan is) but just wanting to remind folks to keep things in perspective and await official confirmation. I totally beleive the touring bits...i have strongly felt that they will be back once the last tour concluded. That is surely a definate, and i can definately see them hitting the States again if they really are up for it. I say bring it on! It's like December 05' all over again, mates! :) |

(and I have confidense in Thomas) so this isn't about any compilation album. Also, I don't believe they are putting out another live album from the tour. ROTC didn't sell that much and another live album with 90% same setlist wouldn't be a wise move. But let's keep on speculating. It makes the whole thing so much more fun! :) |
bigV 12.12.2006 08:42 |
Brian said that it would be "heavy" and "epic". These two words make me think of "Innuendo" (the song). And now we know that it will be a double album. Can you imagine two whole hours of "Innuendo". That would be like... "The Wall". Can't wait :) V. |

What interview? i Assume our friend Thomas thinks that giving an autograph to him is an "interview"! |
Deacon Fan 11.01.2007 15:31 |
Double album to Roger could mean one long CD. Between 70 & 80 mins. is a 'double' album by old Queen standards. The Works, The Game, Flash Gordon.. these albums were all roughly only 35 mins. long. Many others were just under 40. Even AKOM & The Miracle were fairly short if you remove the bonus tracks, which is probably why they were included for CD :-P |
dobo 11.01.2007 15:34 |
it could be a double disc album with a second bonus dvd disc contaning tracks from Hyde Park i would buy the album for that but the thought of new music from queen is a good one which i cant wait for |
AmeriQueen 17.01.2007 08:37 |
sniff-sniff.... I smell B#llsh#t on this post. The impression I get is that they have only done a small handful of tracks thus far. I'd be shocked to see a double studio album. |
