Apparently, uTorrent is the one out of only 3 BitTorrent clients which work with the Queenzone tracker all the time. The client keeps you connected with the swarm even when the tracker is down. Looking at the current torrents, only three clients work with the QZ torrents: uTorrent, MainLine and BitComet. uTorrent is only 170 KB and does not need to be installed. I have not tested the other two clients, maybe someone who uses them can recommend them? link
That's absolutely right. Utorrent it's the only client working, which uses DHT for the files...
It's very simple to use, so download it to use for download torrents.

I have Utorreny and Azureos, and utorrent is better for this, because the tracker is having prblems.
But, what´s wrong with the tracker?
Can´t the problem be solved?
Even if you need to shut down for a couple of days to fix it, i think it would be best for all members, because torrents are very slow, and it´s not a question of seeders anymore.
Take care
I have no idea what is wrong with the tracker. At the moment it's online but still does not work with all clients. Richard is out of the country, so we have to wait until he is back home to fix it.

I only ask, because for some reason, it starts to guive problems in the weekend period. Friday night (around midnight in Europe) all the torrents in my Azureos program stoped working at the same time. The Queenzone torrents stoped downloading and uploading, all at the same time.
Then in the weekend it started very slowly.
Note, i´m not complaining because it´s still faster than E-mule, but in Queenzone people don´t seed for long. I seed what i can until everybody has finished the downloading because i don´t like to have unfinished torrents too.
Yourvalentine and Ginger have done a tremenduous work in keeping some of the torrents alive and it would be bether to have more people like those girls!
Take care
By the way, Yourvalentine:
There´s a new poster named Queenie_Queen that started to post official releases - Mr. Bad Guy was the first, now it´s Made In Heaven.
I think that the first torrent was erased, but advise him that he can´t post those things here, and ban him if you have to!
Take care
Tried them all Babs over the years.Shadows,Burst,Pump,Torrentopia,G-Torrent,Main.. you name it i've scrutinized them and u-torrent is the pick of the pack now beating Torrentopia because its not a PC resource hogger.
Az'rus is ok and does the same as U-torrent but uses more resources than is needed for a simple task proggy.
I think i mentioned it in a thread where no-one could connect to the tracker ,as u-torrent ,with its DHT function can by-pass the tracker & connect directly to the seeds & leechers.
Az loses on the resource factor.
ALSO
May i suggest to all torrent uses to get a programme called Peerguardian 2 as well.
It is a firewall to stop Government ,Spyware/Adware ,Government ,Government & Government etc ip's which your usual firewall will allow.... and if you suffer with a lot of "Failed Hash Check" errors when you download from other sites ,after installing this software they will go.
Peerguardian 2 is available from here: link
Use it!!
I know the older users to bit-torrent already know this proggy and use it ,so i say this mainly to newcomers to torrent-land as a heads-up guide.
One question:
Is uTorrent the only one that works in Queenzone?
I have Azureos and uTorrent
I need to quit some Queenzone torrents on Azureos, but i can´t put them on uTorrent because i already have more than 3 torrents downloading from it.
So, is there anyone using some programe that´s working with the Queenzone torrents apart from uTorrent?
Thanks

Change your settings on utorrent - I usually have about 10 open at any time! Go to options / Preferences / Queuing / and change the number to whatever you like.
Hope this helps!

I´m gonna guive it a try.
I was affraid in doing this because it could have a negative influence on the program.
Tell me, do you put 10 on the active torrents and on the active downloads as well?
Thanks for your help.

Exactly! The only negative effect I can think of is that if you use all 10 you could effectively split your bandwith 10 ways. You can adjust this by suspending a torrent or eventually closing it and opening it again later.
