Hi, this is a gig from Montreal, August 29, 1980. VG quality, 128 kbps, 72 minutes - not complete, but the only recording available. More info and setlist here: link link
Enjoy!
I got this directly from the taper who lives in Toronto. He very generously gave me this concert on cd, a copy of the master, asking nothing in exchange!
Who received this in a trade and converted it to mp3? This is an absolute abomination. But of course they'll never come forward.
For those who care, even though it is lossy and ruined, this is the lineage:
Well, I don't complain in all the other mp3 concert topics... but I had to speak up here because I'm the one who originally got the recording. Anyone who has the slightest sense of quality preservation can relate to what I'm feeling about this share.
Don't worry... it probably won't be long before I finally get fed up and stop coming here altogether, except for once in a blue moon to see how things are going. In all likelihood this situation won't change. But I'd love to be proven wrong.
I said you are right,I meant when there's concert posted and everyone just complaint about the quality instead of saying "THANKS".I got like 220 concerts but I really don't feel like posting them just for ungrateful ones.
Enjoyable audience
recording from Montreal 1980 and a bit remastered also. The pitch is
corrected and there is no tape hiss. This recording is unfortunately
not complete. It misses some songs throughout and the last part of the
concert. Get Down Make Love is cut in the middle and We Will Rock You
(Fast) is slightly cut at the beginning, so the short Jailhouse Rock
show opener is also missing... It is slightly recorded too loud as you
can hear some tiny distortions on some spots. It also has some sound
dropouts here and there, but the sound itself is very clear, so that's
why I rate the sound quality as Very Good. Nice performance of Need
Your Loving Tonight. CD copy from master tape. No copy errors. Not from
mp3.
