In keeping with the tradition of riding on the coatails of Queen Mr. Wondeful is now touring the UK october 5-15th.And sadly a number of you will head on over like cattle hoping to hear a Queen riff or spot Brian and Roj.What a joke this guy is.Pulled off the scrap heep and now doing dates in Us and UK. |

And when are YOU touring? |

As far as I am aware, Paul has been touring for a number of years, so you can hardly accuse him of 'riding the coat tails'. I understand he actually had to postpone some of his own tour dates in order to tour with Bri and Rog, so perhaps these are those postponed dates. Believe it or not, Paul does have his own collection of fans - Bad Company was a pretty successful group, especially Stateside. |
Jjeroen 31.07.2006 05:08 |
Tsss... indeed! There is always a business side to artists - some people seem to sadly forget that. Indeed these dates were already booked a LONG time before there was even talk about Paul hooking up with BM and RT. And even if these were new dates... What the hell is wrong with the guy going out on his own while Brian and Roger are either resting or doing THEIR own things on their own? It has been stated MANY times that Paul is NOT an official new member of 'Queen', if that is your problem with him going out on his own. Jamie is doing gigs with others! Spike and SAS also booked some dates this year! Is that a problem as well? Spike is even on the bill as "Queen's keyboard player"! Talking about scraping! Besides: if you don't like Paul in the first place, I don't see why you need to complain when he goes forth without BM and RT. |

And yes some of us will be heading over there to see him because - SHOCK HORROR...... some of us were fans of him in the first place. Long before he took up with Brian and Roger. And guess what? This might just shock you - we dont expect to hear any Queen songs at all. However if he did do so it would be a nice bonus. And as for saying that he is "pulled off the scrap heap"..... purlease...... grow up. |

The guy is an amazing singer with an some amazing work! He used to tour before Queen and has every right to tour after! Give him a break you dipshit! I encourage everyone to see one of the greatest blues singers of our time. A Legend! |

The guy's been touring all his life, but now that he's played with Brian and Roger, he's supposed to just say, "Oh, well it looks like my work here on earth is finished"? He's not a joke. He has made a career out of the thing he does best. Is every singer in the world at fault because they aren't Freddie? Give me a break. |

stateside fan wrote: lol stir the pot and all the stepfords react!cool.Yeah, Paul never once toured the US or UK on his own before he collaborated with Bri and Rog.*huge rolleyes* Also, you're the one insinuating that liking both Queen's and Paul Rodgers' music at the same time is somehow an impossibility or a sacrilege. Then you call others stepfords? LOL! What a jackass. Listen, not everyone is a closed-minded ignoramus. Maybe Paul won some new fans with his own material at the Q+PR gigs. Gee, do you think that's even possible? |
Bambi 31.07.2006 23:01 |
who gives a rat's ass where he frickin tours, it's his fricken buissness. He has been singing for over 35 years, if he want's to tour mars so be it. geeez let up on petty crap. |

And when are YOU touring? Free, Bad Company, & The Firm ALL had international success, so just because you don't like him you think that MILLIONS of his fans shouldn't? Or if someone is a Queen fan & likes someone else they are a stepford? Lol it sounds like YOU are the Stepford! You ppl think that NOBODY should sing with Queen, they have got on with their lives, get on with yours! Until you measure up to the success that PR has, then leave him alone and shut up! "The Show Must Go On" Freddie Mercury "Get On With It!" |

I have said that before, and I feel I will need to say it again. I think you will find that the rest of your life will be one big let-down, because YOU can't cope with CHANGE.
