After all the discussions lately and remarks like "remove the link, it's offical", I was wondering about the following:
most people here mean music generally. That's songs and videos. Mayniacs.com still has offical songs in real audio though, IIRC. But what about lyrics and artwork? Websites like Queenwords.com or Queenpicturehall exist, and in the pictures section on this website there are heaps of records. But then again I heard that a website, don't know anymore which one, had to remove the lyrics to Queen songs, because they are copyrighted and may not be reproduced. So what does the law (or at least what do the owners of this website) say about this? I'm asking because I hope certain websites don't have to be deleted, not because I want to be picky.

We are not lawyers, we are not responsible for other websites.
Technically reproducing lyrics and even guitar tab breaches copyright, and there are rumblings that the Record industry intends to clamp down on them in addition to file sharers etc.
The operators of this site do the best they can to ensure that it remains available.
