Those pics are very interesting indeed and I've never seen 'em before!
From the era, I can suppose they come from the famous lost "Now I'm here" BBC video. I always heard about it but apparently nobody has a copy, nor collectors or the very BBC itself.
Has anybody ever seen that NIH videoclip at TOTP and can confirm my theory?
Cheeeeers!

wow those are really rare, i never saw them before aswell
On the second photo Brian is on left side from Freddie and John is on right from him (if you're looking from audience)... Pretty unusually!

I really pitty there ain't no footage anymore, however I doubt it. I mean I think the tape is in some lost archives or at least one Queen fan who has it.
ok to add my thoughts: the second pic, I always thought that this is the now im here - top of the pops video. This picture (or a slightly different one) is already published in the "Queen Live" book.
If you watch closely, on the right side of the picture you can see the second stage with a drum skin of "Hello". A quick research on the TOTP website revealed that there was indeed a band called Hello, with a performance on the 20th of Feb, 1975 (with Tony Blackburn as presenter). Now lets check Queen : Now Im Here 16th Jan/30th Jan (Tony Blackburn) and 13th Feb 1975 (repeat). So it is not a perfect match, but quite close... my best guess is that both were recorded on the same day - maybe 30th of Jan - i am not sure about the reliability of these dates, as neither performance survived in the archives... that was just a quick 10 minute research, i will dug myself into it now...

TOTP Las Palabras De Amor with public.
It's just a rehearsal or this take was filmed?

Hmm... Roger has sunglasses, public is present... Yeah, after many notes that this performance was filmed without audience (and it was actually, as we might see on GHVII or GFIII) - it all looks strange at least!
The picture with freddie in red jacket I have seen footage of before, It was shown on a queen documentary a few years ago, I am pretty sure its Killer Queen and its not from TOTPs.
I think it was shown on that Channel 4 Killer Queen Docu.
First one: I'd say Killer Queen. Drumkit is the same as the one in the video we know. But John looks different...
Second one: Hmm, difficult. Now I'm Here? I really don't know...
ok it might be Killer Queen - and the perfomance from the 21th of Nov 1974: according to the totp database, Hello appeared on the same show, which escaped my eyes before - although this perfomance was never shown in any documentary .
as for the first picture : if the 2nd pic is coming from the 21st Nov show, the 27th Dec appearance is the well known "fur-coat" one, this leaves two options: 11th and 24th Oct.
Seven Seas Of Rhye 21st February, 1974 Emperor Rosko Performance
Seven Seas Of Rhye 14th March, 1974 Noel Edmonds Performance
Seven Seas Of Rhye 28th March, 1974 Dave Lee Travis Performance
Killer Queen 11th October, 1974 Paul Burnett Performance Killer Queen 24th October, 1974 Dave Lee Travis Performance
Killer Queen 7th November, 1974 Jimmy Savile Repeat Performance
Killer Queen 21st November, 1974 Noel Edmonds Performance
Killer Queen 27th December, 1974 Noel Edmonds, Dave Lee Travis Performance Yes
Now I'm Here 16th January, 1975 Noel Edmonds Performance
Now I'm Here 30th January, 1975 Tony Blackburn Perfomance
Now I'm Here 13th February, 1975 Noel Edmonds Repeat Performance
these dates are from the TOTP database

Yes your right, but I am sure I have seen this, going through all my tapes at the moment.
Anyway the 2nd pic is almost certainly Killer Queen being played, I have quite a few pictures of John from this performance and on every picture he is playing a 'flat' note which would make KQ an obvious choice.
This picture is also not from the BBC but from Redferns making TOTPs unlikely.
