The Magic 8 Ball is helpful when it comes to predicting release dates. Mine must be defective, though, because the only thing it'll say is try again later.
They should put it out because putting the videos from Innuendo is a pretty neccessary thing to get out there, and also they could put on some blinding extras, which they may or may not do I suppose.

I think you're forgetting that the GVH3 dvd will contain the innuendo/made in heaven stuff. That alone, makes up for anything remotely PLUS about the overall package. And I'm wondering what the extras would be. Surely something like up-to-date interviews with Rog and Bri discussing those last couple of years.
Peace,
Adam.

IMO they wouldn't have held back the Innuendo era videos from GVH2 if they didn't intend to put out a GVH3 at some point. When that is, I have no idea. The Queen cottage industry obviously has other priorities at the moment, with the band on tour and all.
Good things come to those who wait. Maybe if we hold out til November like good little boys and girls (and folks in between), GVH3 will be so amazing that we will all cry just looking at the cover art.

if we're lucky, it will be released by the end of the century
What commerical success would this have? It's asking people to buy a DVD purely because it will have 3 new videos featuring Freddie Mercury, the rest will be filler. It's something the fans would like, but can you honestly expect it to be a success?
Rhys Thomas has the right idea in making a new Greatest Hits Blu Ray, with all videos from all 3 albums, plus behind the scenes footage and rushes. That's what we want, not GHIII DVD, the time has past.
